Decent for a 1 night stay at best
Pros:

Pros :
1) Conveniently located in Margao, very close to the railway station, taxi stand right outside and if you prefer using public transport, it is close to the bus stop as well.
2) Decent sized room.
3) Comfortable and clean bedding.
4) Decent shower pressure and hot water throughout the day.
5) Strong air-conditioning.
6) A crisp newspaper delivered to your doorstep each morning.
7) Room service from the in-house Kinara Restaurant is quick.
8) Great for a budget stay for a night or two at best - as long as you only use it for sleeping at nights.

Cons :
1) Managed by the Goa State Tourism department, so expect government-level service. Staff is not unfriendly, but not friendly either.
2) The property is in desperate need of renovation - several parts are crumbling or dilapidated, or in urgent need of repair.
3) Room service is irregular and upon request during fixed hours.
4) While the rooms look clean, there's dust in corners, on the windows etc. The glasses haven't been changed in decades by the look of it - we avoided drinking the water from the cooler and preferred bottled water.
5) Parts of the property reek of piss.
6) No wifi in the property - you need to use the wifi at the lobby, which has good speed.
7) Gang of beggars will harass you outside the property.
8) The guests here mostly seem like boys/men who come here for participating in local events/sports tournaments. I found a lot of them drinking each night and at times being loud. Not too good for families. I even saw a fistfight breakout between the taxi drivers and a couple of rowdy guests.
