Would stay again without question.
Pros:

The cleanest hotel I’ve ever seen, well designed, great breakfast, nice staff, great location, lovely indoor pool.

Cons:

The to in the bathroom didn’t work but it wasn’t an issue for us.

An exceptional stay at a fabulous hotel!
Pros:

This was a truly exceptional hotel. The staff went over and above to provide everything I needed. The breakfast was excellent. When I left something behind, they were kind enough to inform me and have it sent to me.

Cons:

The pool was not in the best condition and needed some renovation to feel more like a spa pool and not a public swimming pool.
Room service food was also a little bland.
Some small aspects of the room could also do with renovating.

Great bed and bath - but not worth the hefty price tag.
Pros:

I liked the comfy bed, the room itself and the gym and indoor pool. Bath tub was great.

Cons:

The room was freezing and could raise the temperature by AC. I tried for one hour to get the AC to make the room go above 21 degrees. In the end the front desk told me the heat function doesn’t work and I had to request extra quilts. The room boasts on booking.com its Mountain View. There was a small hill with construction beside it. Lastly, the shower knob goes to the wrong direction. When turning towards the handheld shower I was blasted by freezing cold water from above which meant I now HAD to wash my long hair. When turned to the rainfall shower it came out of the handheld. Both dinner buffet in the OPEN restaurant and the breakfast buffet in Nanhai wing were both VERY soso

A great getaway for families with kids
Pros:

Located in a vibrant, modern district with plenty to see and do for a family with small kids. There’s a beautiful path along the waterfront with playgrounds and quality cafes, bars and restaurants.

Speaking of food, the breakfast buffet has a great selection with plenty of made to order items like omelette an annd a noodle bar along with local specialities.

The hotel staff were incredibly helpful and went out of their way to assist when our son fell and injured his tooth. They even paid for our taxi to the hospital at their personal expense. We look forward to returning one day.

Cons:

Don’t forget your swimming cap if you want to use the indoor pool. It’s in the fine print on the notice board and the guard wasn’t shy about turfing us out shortly after entering the water. Would have been nice to have been offered a cap instead!
