THE BEST STAY IN SE ASIA - put this on your bucket list!
Pros:

This was one of the best stays so far during our trip. This is a very special location and the most amazing family run staff. Kim and his team were fabulous. Jenny made everything easy and planned all activities and moped rental. The food is above excellent! The restaurant is located next to the lotus pond and very tranquil. The massages in the massage cabina were perfect. The pool is secluded in the back. And the rooms..... well, the rooms are huge and amazing. The most comfortable bed and pillows. Everything was amazing. And there's an amazing boutique to buy local craft in the hotel. THIS IS A MUST IF YOU'RE COMING TO BATTAMBANG!

a pleasant stay
Pros:

Very friendly staff
nicely decorated rooms
while talking with them it became clear we could order nom banh chok for breakfast and this was a sublime alternative to the standard Khmer breakfast

Beautiful hotel in a peaceful spot
Pros:

We loved Maisons Wat Kor. It is set in a luscious gardens overlooking a lily pond with a beautiful shaded pool. Our room was stunning and very comfortable. Staff couldn’t do enough to help and breakfast was delicious.

Cons:

The only disadvantage is that it is located about 15 mins by tuk tuk from the centre of Battambang but it’s in such a beautiful spot that this hardly matters and the cost of the tuk tuk is very low.

Maison Wat Kor ist ein ganz besonderer Ort. Die Atmosphäre im Hotel ist sehr schön und friedlich, geprägt durch die Herzlichkeit, Wärme, Respekt und Humor vom gesamten Personal. Alle sind sehr aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Wir fühlten uns willkommen, wie zu Hause in einer Familie. Sehr gutes Angebot an Ausflügen und auch das Essen ist sehr gut.

Cambodian kindness and hospitality that stays with you
Pros:

A stunning property in a quaint corner of Battambang. There are many things to love about Maison Wat Kor - the food is a particular local stand-out - but it's the delightful staff that will have me returning soon. From the owners, to the wait staff and the gardners, you are welcomed with genuine and kind smiles. We found ourselves just relaxing at the property a lot, it was such a nice space to be in, and the restaurant is great. We were also able to bring along our little dog, who took immediate liking to resident mini-poodle Happy, and was kindly treated by all the staff. I highly recommend, and I will be returning.
