We stayed at hotel during our trip to Agra and found it to be a very good experience. The hotel is clean, well-maintained, and has a friendly atmosphere. You get what you pay for, so it’s hard to complain about hotel samovar. While handily situated near the big sites of Agra, the hotel is a bit on the grubby side, despite its affordability. Reasonable eating options are also nearby. If on a budget, you’ll make do with this place.

The food was delicious and served with great care

It seemed like we were alpha-testing the facilities. Even the WIFI in the lobby was sketchy, and in the rooms was hopeless. Shower didn’t work in one room. Breakfast appeared to be makeshift in a deserted restaurant. I wish them luck as they pull together the pieces of a functional hotel.
