Old & not worth the price.
Pros:

The hotel & room we were in are extremely outdated and evidently have not had any work done for decades. The location is good for Alexandra Palace and the reception staff friendly but I would never stay here again. We paid an extra £60 (compared to here) for a night in another hotel the next day, more central and that was the equivalent to a 5 star luxury compared to here.

Did the trick for one night!
Pros:

A decent enough place for a relatively low price. It's well-located for Muswell Hill. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and the heating was on. It's not a luxury offering, but you get what you pay for, and this is the reality of the UK's economic situation in 2026! If you have beef with it, take it up with our politicians and economists, not the people running this hotel ;)

Cons:

Most of all, the mattresses need replacing because they were a bit misshapen and uncomfortable to sleep on. But for one night only we didn't think this wasn't a big deal.

Handy for Ally Pally
Pros:

Great location in a quiet road off the bustle of Muswell Hill shops, bars and restaurants. 24-hour helpful reception. Small but adequate single room. Decent bathroom en suite. Very handy for events at nearby Alexandra Palace. Good bus links to Underground and Overground trains.

Cons:

No breakfast, but not really an issue as there are options close by. Some noise from corridor and neighbouring rooms, but not too disturbing. A bit tired looking and dated.
