Great location, knowledgeable staff, and a very good breakfast.
The room was comfortable and the facilities are quite new. The location is convenient, with many sightseeing spots within walking distance.
As the hotel is located in front of several restaurants, the room was not very soundproof. Since we stayed on the second floor, it could get quite noisy on Friday nights until around 2 a.m., when the street finally quieted down. Although breakfast starts at 7:00 a.m., the overall setup did not seem to be fully ready at that time. There were also a few minor housekeeping issues, such as body wash not being provided upon arrival and towels not being replenished on one occasion.

Friendly staff, Room cleaned everyday with fresh towel ,location was great for our first time visit to all places in Sulthanahmet. Room changed when bed side plug was not working.
Room is smaller in size than I can see in the pictures..Breakfast with omelette station was nice. Dishes could have been changed on a day to day basis, saw a few repeats and got boring for a 7 days stay
Location:
Hotel is very centrally located, within walking distance of Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Galata Bridge, tram, subway, restaurant, shops, banks, ATM and other key attractions.
Reception and staff:
Very good interaction with Reception, staff and even the hotel manager. From reception we received a tourist map of Istanbul with info, locations and trips recommendations. If you want cheaper or better, there are plenty of options in Istanbul.
Accommodation:
I had room 315. Room clean, big enough for 2 adults, with luggage and all, relatively new furniture.
The bed is a bit small compared to European standards, but overall we slept well for 3 nights.
The room had a large window, overlooking the courtyard behind the hotel and half of the hotel building, with lots of natural light.
Our bathroom was large, all working well, we had hot&cold water at every hour of the day&night.
No noise issue.
No issue with the elevators, we used the ones in the back of hotel, not those in the lobby that are used by so many guests.
Hotel overall was clean and amenities working well.
Breakfast: a regular hotel breakfast, with omlette and fried egg station. Has few of everything. For us it was just perfect. For 2-3 days is ok, if you stay longer you might get bored of same things. If you want more, there are plenty of restaurants around to have a typical turkish breakfast.
No minibar/Water in the room, but there is a vending machine in the lobby and a store next to hotel.
Not related to hotel: of course the surrounding area is heavily oriented toward tourists and prices are higher. If you move out a little bit of this zone, you can find restaurants, shops etc with fair prices.
This was my second time staying at Maywood, the location is perfect and a taxi can drive in the street for pick up and drop off from airport. Train and metro are 1 minute away. Staff are always friendly and helpful

Расположен отель рядом с достопримечательностями, все в пешей доступности. Рядом также трамвай и метро. Хорошие завтраки, каждый день одно и то же, но выбрать есть из чего. Удобные кровати и подушки. В номерах есть халаты. Приятным бонусом являются бассейн и хамам. Персонал доброжелательный, при выезде из отеля всем вручили небольшие подарки в виде турецкого чая и стаканчиков. Приятно!
Нет наборов с зубной щеткой и пастой. Пришлось купить. Это было неожиданно, особенно учитывая наличие халатов/тапочек/наборов для чая и кофе. Мусор выносили только после того, как попросишь на ресепшн. Ни разу за все наше пребывание в номере не мыли пол, такой грязи я давно в отелях не видела.
