Brothers Bungalows Balangan

Die Bungalows sind in einem sehr schönen, gut gepflegt im Garten gelegen und haben fast alle Blick auf den Pool. Sie sind geräumig und das Bett ist sehr gut und mit einem Moskitonetz versehen. Es war für uns ohne Probleme möglich, von dem gebuchten Zimmer ohne air con auf eines mit air con upzugraden. Allerdings gegen entsprechenden Aufpreis. Und der war sehr viel höher, als die Preisdifferenz bei Expedia. Die Klimaanlage hat dann auch leider nicht so gut funktioniert, wie wir uns das gewünscht hätten. Aber dafür haben wir einen zusätzlichen Ventilator bekommen. Vom Hotel aus sind es lediglich 5 Minuten zu Fuß zum Strand. Der nächste Supermarkt mit LTM ist ca 20 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Eine laundry gibt es nicht in der Nähe. Gibt man die Wäsche im Hotel ab, wird nicht nach Gewicht sondern nach Stückpreis abgerechnet, und das war sehr teuer.

Das Frühstück war sehr liebevoll angerichtet und sehr lecker. Man konnte zwischen drei verschiedenen Varianten jeweils mit frischem Obst und Saft wählen.

Sehr gut war der Spa-Bereich. Die Massagen dort sind hervorragend.

Sehr gut geklappt hat auch die Organisation unseres Weitertransports.

Alles im allem war es für zwei Tage ein angenehmer Aufenthalt.

The place is terribly hot in the afternoon even with air conditioning. The service is just average but the property itself gives a good vibe and coziness feeling.

Accommodations were great but our service was soured with a young male waiter who’s name started with A who was either super untrained or just a bad waiter. He seated us and instead if getting us menus continued setting all the tables until we asked for menus and to order a drink. We was gone so long after ordering our drink we thought he forgot. We asked again add you was slowly refilling ice bucket.
Asked 3rd time for service to order dinner. And had to ask for bill at end as well. The other manager and staff was excellent (although still not overly quick to refil drinks etc) but not a concern except fir this waiter who really gave brothers bungalows a bad experience. I felt like my 14 year old son would have been a better waiter

Sehr freundlicher Service und familiär. Wunderschöne kleine Anlage mit schönen Blumen. Sehr ruhig. Jederzeit gerne wieder. Sind bereits zweitesmal da und drittes Mal gebucht.
Die Betten sind herrlich. Kinder und Eltern fühlen sich wohl.

Very quiet and nice place in remote location near nice beach. Big garden with pool, great restaurant, separate wood houses.
Just room was a bit smelly, no air conditioning, very hot to sleep.

Hyvätasoista bungalow majoitusta. Mukava rauhallinen alue, joka oli hyvin hoidettu. Uima-altaan vesi oli sopivan lämmintä. Mukava tunnelma. Huoneen ilmastointi toimi hyvin ja suihkussa tuli lämmintä vettä. Hotelli oli hyvällä sijainnilla ja rantaan oli lyhyt matka.

Hotelli sijaitsee ehkä hieman turhan syrjässä kaikesta. Lähellä ei ole juuri mitään, paitsi toisia samanlaisia pieniä ja jo hieman kuluneita hotelleja. Läheinen ranta on lähinnä surffareille ja rannan baarit ja ravintolat on melko heikkoja tasoltaan. Itse hotelli on muuten kiva paitsi kulumisen merkkejä alkaa jo näkyä vähän joka paikassa. Huoneet ovat siistejä ja hyvän kokoisia. Allas todella pieni (sama juttu monissa muissa paikoissa).

Suurin ongelma ehkä se että lähellä ei ole juuri mitään, etkä kuitenkaan ole mitenkään ihmeellisen luonnon keskellä. Tuntuu kuin koko alueen olemassa olo olisi vähän unohdettu.

Good location, close to the beach. Nice surrounds to the rooms. Rooms were basic but fine. No air conditioning which we knew prior, but 2 fans so was okay. Friendly staff and nice restaraunt at the front

Inte bästa läget

Bungalowsen är fina och poolen helt ok men det är inte speciellt rent eller bekvämt och personalen är inte värst tillmötesgående. I rummen finns ingen AC utan endast fläkt vilket kan vara ok men här är det inte det. Det var så varmt en natt att ingen av oss kunde sova och vi var blöta av svett - det var alltid varmare inne än ute och med en temperatur på 27-32 grader så blir det olidligt.
Badrummet är nästan helt öppet så när det regnar går det varken att duscha eller använda toaletten om du inte vill vara i regnet, och det blir blött i nästan hela badrummet när det regnar. På dagarna sitter du på toaletten i gassande sol.
Skicket och renlighet är sådär, helt ok, men de skulle kunna använda lakan som inte har hål och fläckar.
Området är sådär - det finns en strand precis nedanför hotellet men alla restauranger, barer och annat är ca en halvtimmes bilfärd bort, och det är förbjudet för Uber att hämta upp på hotellet så istället måste du använda hotellets service vilket är 4 gånger dyrare.
Frukosten är ett skämt. Inte bra alls (vi gick och åt frukost på det bättre hotellet rakt över gatan och använde deras pool och hängde där istället. Finns havsutsikt på det hotellet).

Second time here and really love it. Very peaceful surroundings and great pool. Short walk to the beach

Firstly the hotel was located right next to the beach which was ideal given the secluded location from the busy city. The staff were amazing, and helped us with all our requests, including booking a surfing lesson. The food was nice for the price and the juice in the morning was excellent and fresh. We stayed at another similar accommodation in the area and this was by far more pleasurable, mainly due to the accommodating staff. Would definitely recommend

It was a good stay. There was no air conditioning, only a fan. It was too hot for only fan. Fairly close to the beach, but too much plastic and garbage on the beach.

Comfortable, clean, espacious and quiet. Staff attentive and helpful. The setting ideal for spending a few days

C'est un hôtel/bungalow qui ne mérite aucune étoile !
Pas d'eau à notre arrivée et terrain qui devient un champs de boue à chaque averse...

Beautiful surroundings, nice staff and close to the beach. However, there was no air condition and the toilet did not flush.

Great quite place, lovely garden. Close to the beach, good for surfing. In the hotel, nothing too fancy, but all very enjoyable. Seemed like one of the best options in the area.

We spent 5 nights in this beautiful resort. Very nice, clean and cozy bungalow. Friendly staff. Walking distance to Balangan beach is only 3-4 min. Balangan is great! Clean water, sand beach. You are a surfer you can find waves too.
Reasonable price.
