Pleasant property although a little over priced
Pros:

The unit was nice and comfortable

We were further away from Franz Josef than I had realised . I felt the property was a little basic for the cost

Surprisingly luxurious with the best bed and pillow we experienced in New Zealand.
Pros:

The room was clean, modern, spacious and beautifully furnished. The mountain view was stunning. The bathroom had two sinks and all the little extras you would normally get at a 5 star hotel. Shaving kit, dental kits two lots of shampoo, conditioner and body lotion. The young lady that greeted us at reception was very helpful and welcoming. I must say this was the best reception experience we have had in New Zealand. It is a less than 5 minute drive to the village of Franz Josef so not a big deal. The lovely staff member who greeted us informed us of all the restaurants and indicated that some have courtesy buses which will pick you up and bring you back. We just drive and had a lovely meal at a pub. We would definitely stay here again.

Very quiet. Big room and bathroom. Nicely set out and furnished. Warm. Comfortable bed. Very good complimentary breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Pros:

A beautifully presented accommodation just outside the town of Franz Joseph with stunning views of the mountains. . The staff are very friendly and eager to assist you to settle in. The rooms are large. A lot of effort has gone into providing the little luxuries, which make a difference to travelling. The bed was very comfortable. Would definitely recommend staying.

Die Unterkunft glänzte mit einem sehr einladenden Erscheinungsbild. Die Gastgeber waren außerordentlich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Kein einziger Wunsch ist offen geblieben. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die offene und warme Art der Gastgeber. Sehr gerne wären wir länger geblieben! Diese Unterkunft können wir nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen!
