Beautiful location.
The boardwalk was closed. Apparently no plans to repair it, though it looked fine.
We did have to change rooms, due to a leaky pipe in the ceiling.
You advertise ocean view and balcony when I booked nothing could be further from the truth
The room
Great location as far as the beach goes.
Falsely advertised. Paid for a full ocean front room; even called the week before to confirm. Once there & checked in, it was a partial view due to the other buildings on either side. Definitely felt cheated/misled; the whole reason we booked this hotel in the first place. The shower was dirty; as I turned on the water dirt/etc. started flowing to the drain & water pressure was awful. There was a huge (what looked to be) german roach that crawled out from behind the fridge. Dust here & there, ceiling cleaning not maintained. Broken plastic pieces from parts of the ceiling. While I understand the hotel may be older, wasn’t up-kept as expected for its price. Also, one of the boardwalks to the beach is closed indefinitely, which was not advertised.

Breakfast was a spread of muffins, danishes, bagels,cereals, waffles, fruit.
Room seemed clean but had a musky scent, some of the facilities and decor outdated

Can use a upgrade on the room with newer furniture but that does not take away of the comfortable space
The walk to the beach was easy to do, even though the main walkway immediately from the hotel was closed off. It was easy to get around to go to the beach entrance. The hotel was within walking distance of most things within Tybee Island, such as The Deck restaurant.
The cleanliness of the room was mostly clean, but several hairs were around the sink, shower, and toilet. Hair that was very clearly not mine. There was no bathmat to walk on after your shower had completed, so I had to use one of the towels. On the booking, it showed a perfect view of the beach, and I planned around being able to see the beach when I wake up in the morning. That is one of the reasons I paid such a price for the beachfront hotel. Come to find out, the rooms I was given was not a beachfront room. The parking spots were difficult to get out of, sometimes requiring a 6 point turn to get out. I stated in my preference I would like a quiet room. I was not able to get that preference met. I heard several conversations with people in rooms next to me on the phone where they were swearing, threatening to kill someone over the phone, etc. all through the walls of my bedroom.
EVERYTHING
My neighbor nextdoor of me was rude! The receptionist handled the situation wonderfully. The guy was upset at my TV volume 😂😂😂😂.

The carpet smelled and the the tub had rust stains. This unit needs a update or a deep deep cleaning. For the price at 500.00 a night it should be spotless and odorless!!

Staff was not accommodating. I booked an ocean front room and was put in a partial ocean view mist likely because I did not book direct.
