No way this is a 4 star
Yes it was very clean, 3 of us stayed in a room with 2 double beds, fridge not working, tv not working, disgusting view (see photos), zero space for clothes (half a small cupboard) space only for 1 suitcase, no room for other suitcases (there is a sign to place them under the bed, but lacking the storage you had to pull the suitcase out to change clothing) other guests in and out all night until 7am noisy, tv’s on loud, spoke to reception they weren’t interested, no desk in room (as stated) no chairs to sit in in room, all in all we did not enjoy our stay, we would not recommend this hotel, there are lots of nicer hotels to stay in

Cute little property in the heart of Taksim Square. Easily walkable to public transit to take you anywhere you want to go in the city. Plenty of places to eat very close. Staff is courteous and gracious. Would definitely stay here again when in Istanbul.
A little less quite between rooms than expected but no undue noise from outside. Although a short walk from a busy square, as a solo female guest may feel a bit unnerved after dark. The hotel and its staff are excellent; very friendly, helpful and clean. The close proximity to Taksim Square was excellent ( I didn’t investigate this) turned out to be very handy from a public transport point of view and street vendors. Highly recommend and would book again if visiting Istanbul again.
What a beautiful little hotel, spotless clean and right in the heart of Taksim, i called the hotel and they even arranged a transfer for me from Istanbul airport, every thing was perfect, the only down side is they don’t serve breakfast. When i come back to Istanbul i will definitely be staying there . Extremely good value for money too, the staff were extremely helpful to

After some consideration i have decided that my initial review may have been a knee jerk reaction regarding an issue with this hotel. After discussion with the manager he offered us a free personal taxi to the airport as a kind jester for the issue we had. Thankyou to the Aston Hotel.
The management were very accommodating after a few issues initially. The fact that they arranged a taxi to the airport...at their expense speaks volumes about this hotel.
