Left a week early, couldn't stand it, no money back Sorry, but there is nothing in your hotel! No cafe or restaurant, not even a kitchen where you can cook for yourself. Your bar is absurd? Half of the declared items are not there, the bartender does not understand the word tea and coffee.

One time I waited 20 minutes for a cappuccino, I made an order and he just left. Then the girl came in and said he didn't understand me. He didn't understand the word cappuccino? Is he a bartender or a janitor? Half the staff speaks only their own language and don't understand the simplest English words. What are they doing here? Or do you have a Balinese only hotel?

There are no lemons in the bar! That's absurd. Half the world drinks tea with lemon. No cookies or chocolates or brownies either. You have nothing to buy at all! Even if one feels like spending money. The store at the entrance is also miserable - just chemical snacks and the same chemical lemonades. There are no cafes, restaurants or normal stores near the hotel!

You don't have a washing machine! Which is absurd. What's the point of taking your laundry somewhere and paying for it?

There's nothing. Your guests are constantly smoking, shaking off the ashes and spitting on the floor. There is no table or chair in the room where you could work on your computer.
There is not even a nightstand where you could put your things so that they do not lie on your useless yellow couch. My dough is piled up on the couch!

No kettle! Why not put a kettle in the room so the guest can have tea in the morning? I have been to many hotels and there was a kettle everywhere!

The most absurd thing is that you can not eat in the room! Who came up with this and what good is it to you? I, for example, like to eat alone and in silence, but here I can not do it!

To be honest, I have not seen such service anywhere, although I have been many places. More precisely, there is no service at all! This is not a hotel, but some kind of lodging. When I arrived from the airport, there was no toilet paper in the room! What the hell is this?!

The room rate is not too expensive. The room is slightly different from the pictures that they put in online booking website. I’ve been there twice, the room on the first stay was smelly, but since I just stayed for one night I think it would be fine. The second stay I ask the staff to not giving me the same room as my first stay. And the room on the second stay was better. I didn’t captured the look of the room, but the room was ok, it’s clean, and the aircon is work very well. The pool was small (well what you expecting to a cheap city hotel), but it was good enough, no sunshine in the swimming pool, looks like it’s covered by the building itself.

Crew in this hotel was very nice ( expecially the people on receptionist) but i felt sad with the room.
Blanket and towel extremly dirty and stinky and the toothbrush in the room was wet on the top, i think someone already used it before me and the cleaner didnt change it into a new one( that was the worst thing)

I was stay in MarsCity hotel for 1 night. The room is very small but very comfortable, air condition was very cold. Bathroom is very clean but small. There's no aminities in my bathroom except bath towel. Staff not good at all, when I'm check in I lost my time bcs the staff can't use my debit card (I think she is a trainee person), and when I check out, I have to wait so long time.

If u a backpacker it's ok to stay for the price. Saw few cockroaches and other bugs near the bed and bathroom. There is no fridge in the room but it ok I guess aircon works great and has nice swimming pool. The bed was comfortable in every way and nice and quiet area not much noise

This hotel is just not worth your money. First of all the pictures are lying. The staff is bad, most of them don't even speak English. My girlfriend and I are backpackers and booked this because we wanted some luxury, but we rather stay in a guesthouse again then stay here!

Outside appearances are good, but it stops there. We had a one-night stopover in Denpasar en route to Lombok. Our travel agent booked us in here. Would rather have paid more and been closer to the airport. Our room was on the top (fifth) floor and smelled dank. There are windows but the sill height is almost at floor level and for safety reasons cannot be opened....there are no safety grilles etc. So the room is always closed up. The bathroom smelled of stale urine. Towels were stained and did not smell fresh. We did not shower because of this. Bed was hard and the pillows harder. Nicest thing about the room was the large canvas print hanging on the wall behind the bed with painted images of Earth and Mars.

This was probably a good hotel in its day, but in desperate need of a make-over.

cash, headphones, and USB stick stolen from room and no follow up from management. location is in the absolute middle of nowhere, items in room in disrepair.

hotel not near main strip in Sanur and in a rough area. It is close to airport. Rooms were very dirty, stains and burns on bed sheet, hairs all over floor, headboard needs a good clean. We ordered lunch and was not very nice at all. Staff were friendly and helpful. Ok for price but would not stay more than one night.

Inside it is different :

Lobby is nice but staff is not that good in English. They are really young and seem inexperienced
However. Some of them were very helpful during our trip to book taxis and rent a scooter, and print our boarding pass.

Restaurant menu looks delicious but the dishes are not that good. Only simple. Not all well cooked and sauce is not homemade but from a bottle bought in a store. Fresh juices do not need added sugar please
Breakfast is light, even poor. I was still hungry after eating 2 small pancakes.
Fruit salad also tiny

Rules are maybe different but we were also annoyed by a smoking guest. Smoking free area would be good

Room has some stains on the walls
WiFi does not work well on the levels. Sometimes it doesn't work at all.

I fought with two cockroaches on the first night. And the shower door does not close. And when you open it, it hurts the toilet.

So. Please please please make an effort for the cuisine and the cleaning of the room.
Fresh painting will be welcomed. And a fresh decoration as well. First time I see apple brand lights in a restaurant.

Please do not be shy when talking to us, some receptionists are whispering instead of talking.

This is budget hotel or you can called it value for money thing. Location a bit far from highway, too far I guess as Am assumed, in residence area to be exact. It's not so difficult to find, guiding by googlemaps.

Front facade of this hotel is quite good, typical to other good hotel in appearance. I'm surprised when they can not provide twin beds as Am preferred in the beginning booking. They said this hotel never provide with twin beds. only single bed with size of 1.80x200m size. Hotel does not provide with extra bed either for all types of room. Substitute of this with a single sofa about 0.5x1.80m size in every room.

Room size exact is 7.20x3.60m instead of 32m2 mentioned by this hotel. I found out the bath room size about 2.0x2.0m and it's more like CKD (knock down) bathroom. the floor made from plastic, it is slippery.

there's no hanging towel bar, so you can imagine.

2 mineral water with 300ml each. Dry tissue also included. 2 bath towels.
Only this are provided on every room.

Hotel provided us on 4th floor but sounds of phone ringing on the lobby (1st floor) and/or people talks/laughing we still can hear it.

They have 2 elevators but only 1 is operating. Again, you can imagine how crowded when many people's need it.

Trevlig personal som ville hjälpa till, det höjde hotellets betyg. Hotellet ligger lite off men det funkar att sova där. Vi skulle bara sova där en natt. Poolen ser betydligt större ut på bilden, det var egentligen en minipool. Rummet vi fick hade problem med avloppet så det stank inne på toaletten och duschen var inte så himla trevlig.

1. Bed sheets had black stains on them
2. My sister got locked in the shower because of the jammed glass door for 10 minutes
3. Hotel staff failed to preserve the peace of the hotel because of other visitors who kept shouting and slamming the doors at 11 a.m.
4. Hotel staff also failed to preserve the silence at 7 a.m by banging on our doors, thinking that we were part of the convoy that stayed over.
5. No compensation was given other than 2 omelette dishes.
6. No restaurants nearby, closest convenient store is at least 1 km away.

The Room is a bit small for my liking but I love the design. I can imagine it would be a bit awkward for friends to stay here and one of them needs to go use the toilet though :D
The Pool is small but adequate. Definitely awesome to swim in during such a hot day as the pool retain its temperature. Front office staff are very friendly, they might be young and inexperienced as some reviewers might've said but I think their friendliness are at least worth mentioning. At their restaurant, Food presentation looks amazing but the problem is, I don't want my food to look that nice I want them to have adequate amount of food :D Waiters are amazing can't say bad thing about the waiters/waitresses :) Chicken pepper with rice taste really good but again, I want more than just 3 little strips of chicken to go with my rice :)

I had to stay at Denpasar overnight to catch a connecting domestic flight to my hometown in Java. I booked a room at Marscity because they offered a free airport transfer on the website. I thought it just convenient. However, turned out that airport transfer is only free when you stay 3 nights or more. Hotel was quite far from Airport, so taxi would cost a lot. Room was pretty small and bare (I stayed on standard room) there was no toothbrush/things like that. Clean enough, but bathroom need a bit more attention. Breakfast was basic, not much choice at all ( at the time I stayed, it comprised rice, chicken, a vegie dish, chillie sauce, crackers; water,tea coffee) and it ran out before half of the guest have eaten. Yes they filled it up after that, after the guests' complain. The staff was nice and helpful.

I stayed at Mars City Hotel last year with my family and we had such a great time there! We really loved this hotel for several aspects. Personally, I do think that this hotel has the unique model especially the room. I love the simple yet scientific background on the wall, mainly talking about planets. Those kinds of background are rare and never been seen in other hotels. Next, my family and I also like the style of the bathroom, we even try to copy the style of the bathroom for our one at home. It feels like the most comfortable bathroom ever!
Lastly, we also enjoyed this hotel as its strategic location. For this case, my father was the first person as he said that the location of this hotel was really strategic and enabled us to have the cheper yet delicious food of Bali! We compared this hotel to other hotels located in other areas which have more expensive atmosphere with less delicious food.
Overall, we did enjoy this hotel! We also wish that Mars City Hotel had other branches in other cities:)

wifi、洗濯機・乾燥機があるとのことで2日間予約しましたが、到着してすぐに別ホテルへの移動を決めました。

まず、洗濯機・乾燥機はありません。
また、部屋ではwifiが使えません、ロビーでも運が良ければ途切れながらつながる程度、wifi有りと書くべきではありません。

冷蔵庫がないことは知っていましたが、併設されているコンビニには冷たい飲み物がほぼありません。
ビールがあるか聞いたところ、真顔で常温のビールを手渡されました、絶句です。
レストランで食事をしたときも、常温のビールがでてきました、エアコンもほとんど効いていないレストランでの常温ビール、「冷たくない。」と言うと、これまた真顔で氷を持ってきました。

部屋はほぼ写真通り、デスクはありません。
トイレやシャワールームが丸見え、一応カーテンがありますが、端っこがクルクル巻いてしまうので、スキマが出来ていや～な感じで見えます、心底落ち着きません。

シャワーブースのドアは壊れていて、常時5cmほどのスキマがある状態、もちろん、使用すると水が溢れだします。排水具合も悪いので最悪です。

仕方なく一泊し、翌日にはチェックアウト。
朝起きたら、ダニに刺されていました．．．
ホテル周辺にお店などはないので、この状況から逃れるにはチェックアウトするしかありません。

終始不快な気分の滞在でした。
