Perfect for what we needed!

The hotel was a bit outdated but fine nonetheless. We would recommend and stay here again if in the area. The people

Very comfortable, nice staff and very clean.
Pros:

Proximity to town and on the water views.

Cons:

The breakfast should have had eggs and some kind of bacon or sausage, but they didn’t that was very disappointing.
There were also no milk alternatives.

Convenient to town. Great View

Cons:

The fact that the power went out and the hotel had NO back up lighting. Exit signs were out, had to use my flash on the phone to find my room. This was NOT acceptable to have entirely NO back up lights in hall, nor in rooms....even if it was 1 light. A rechargeable light could have been available in rooms or even hallway. I'm sure this is a violation in the hallways as this was very dangerous.

Clean rooms and great ½ way mark to Myrtle Beach

Clean, good location and was pretty well maintained.

Cons:

No toilet paper when we arrived. We had to ask for it, and she brought one small roll. The breakfast was very lacking. 100% carbs, no type of protein. It all tasted fake and those biscuits were from some other planet. I’m not sure what was even in them. Also the deposits they charged are ridiculous. I don’t like staying in hotels with large deposits and takes up to a week to get your money back. We reserved 2 rooms and she did knock for deposits for one of the rooms when I voiced my objections.

Pros:

Location from family cleanliness, view of the lake

Cons:

Shower gets very hot and the steam sets off the fire alarm in the room and it wouldn't stop going off and staff tries to accuse us of smoking as you could clearly see the room and mirrors fogged up from the steam from the shower

It was a great stay, pool was nice to cool off in , staff was super. Wished the breakfast buffet changed up every day but aside from that it was a great stay.

The staff was Great and the room was great.

Cons:

The breakfast was minimal with no eggs or meat choices. The TV was hard to figure out and it did not have any premium movie channels like HBO.
