Great location and view
Everything was lovely
More than met our expectations. Family run hotel 3rd generation. Wonderful staff friendly and efficient. Paul Garrod the present family manager organised a single room free of charge so that I had access to a walk in shower. Amelia Emily and Darcy were attentive and kind in restaurant and bar. Food was excellent and reasonable prices
Location was perfect. Great place Made our 42nd wedding anniversary extra special.

Very narrow driveway down to the parking at the back of the hotel.
The location was fantastic, and loved the room. It was very quite in night when you need a good night sleep with your partner.
There was awful smell, out the property on the road , as the moment you are in front of the property. But I guess it's not the issue with property, rather some drainage smell. But it was really bad

Location was good. Car park although it's small and has a narrow side entrance. Breakfast offering good. Room was clean.
Rooms aren't well sound proof so you do hear those in other rooms around you. There wasn't a fan in the room already ( didn't ask if there was one) and room was quite warm in June and not particularly summery day.
Paul's team were very friendly and went beyond expectations with all the guests on the evening we stayed at Furzedown.
It was raining in Great Yarmouth that day. So many other places were closed.

Old fashioned hotel, comfortable without surrendering to the facsimile of the characterless chains.
Staff were friendly, as a solo traveller it felt like you were being welcomed into the fold.

Room was changed to 1st floor from 2nd with my disability
As soon as I walked through the main entrance I was welcomed with a friendly smile and a warm welcome, the staff were very accommodating letting me know about the hotel, breakfast and all the food was exceptional, furzedown hotel great Yarmouth an excellent position in great Yarmouth along the seafront within a few minutes walk from the town, there is a car park at the rear of the hotel so there was safe parking which is very good, I would highly recommend the furzedown hotel to anyone who is visiting Yarmouth as I will definitely book up again.

We had evening meal there was plenty of choice and well cooked and presented .
