Advice if you have a stay over in Istanbul: Taxi and airport transfers are expensive!

I looked at cheaper hotels near the airport first because I had a one night stay over between flights.
Taxi / airport transfer would cost more than Hotel Cagayan because it’s close to the metro line, minimal cost, easy, quick and safe. I didn’t know the area, but I used google maps and then the hotel was easy to find, maybe a 12 minutes walk from the metro station.
Also, from any metro in Istanbul you will have quick connections to downtown. Easy, and you avoid getting stuck in traffic during rush hours.

Wir sind mit unserer Familie und unseren Gästen aus Wien, Österreich angereist und haben 7 Nächte / 8 Tage im Tempo Hotel Çağlayan verbracht. Unser Aufenthalt war in jeder Hinsicht hervorragend und wir waren sehr zufrieden.

Das Hotel ist sauber, ordentlich und sehr komfortabel. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die Freundlichkeit, Hilfsbereitschaft und Herzlichkeit aller Mitarbeiter. Vom Reinigungspersonal über die Mitarbeiter in der Küche bis hin zum Empfang – alle haben ihre Arbeit mit großer Sorgfalt und einem Lächeln erledigt.

Obwohl wir aus dem Ausland gekommen sind, haben wir uns wie zu Hause gefühlt. Ein großes Dankeschön an das gesamte Team – wir können dieses Hotel mit bestem Gewissen weiterempfehlen. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
