Pros:

The location was near to restaurants, convenience stores, a bus stop, and the beach.

Cons:

I was booked in for 9 days and, upon checking in, was informed I would receive no house cleaning or fresh towels during that time. The room was musty and a lot worse for wear than the rooms shown in the pictures (paint peeling, mirror worn, mildew on ceiling). My bathtub struggled to drain and the toilet flushed occasionally.

The room had a new kitchenette, which was great, but no pots, dishes, cutlery, etc. with which to prepare food. This was disappointing, as I had gotten the room to make meals. The kitchen did not have a kettle either.

This is a note for international traveller's. The room has a tub, but no shower or curtain. It's not a downside, I had just gotten used to showers while traveling in Japan, and it surprised me a lot. I have bad knees and it was a struggle to use (but the reservation did clearly state bathtub, so that's my fault for not noting).
