Grand Bay View Hotel

Great value for the money. I wish they would include at least two bottles of water each day. Come on, water is a basic human necessity and I’d thoroughly afforded to any establishment.
I did appreciate the gym.
The free shuttle to the metro needs to run more frequently.
It often fills up and then you would have to wait 30 minutes for the next ride. If you’re not in line in the lobby you run the risk of not being able to board the next bus out.
My wife and I learned to use the octopus card
(Metro card) and was very well served by it.

Breakfast is inexpensive but also ordinary. The front desk staff very friendly. Property is a bit dated. Ok for a short stay. I saw a shuttle bus and asked if it was for the airport and they said yes. Perhaps they didn’t listen carefully. The shuttle driver was a grumpy old man who once the door was shut, he didn’t let me in. I had to wait for the next one. Then I found out it wasn’t to the airport but to Tsuen Wan station.

Everything was ok, only the mattress was quick hard, not very comfortable

Property is amazing with nice sea view. Rooms are good size and staff were amazing with their service. Breakfast buffet is also good with several options. Swimming pool is also good, kids enjoyed a lot. Hotel is amazing with high cleanliness and hygiene. Highly recommend for the families who wants to visit the Disneyland and closer to the Airport.

For the price I paid I wasn't expecting too much. However the staff were very helpful and polite. The room was a decent size for HK. It is in a secluded area but it makes a change from the bustle you get in HK. The views are amazing. The complimentary shuttle bus helped to get to Tsuen Wan town where you can find all shops and very much a transport hub. The shuttle service only runs to about 19:00 but the local bus service gets you back to the hotel with ease. A taxi ride is about HK$40 from Tsuen Wan town back to the hotel.

Great Location for First-Time Visitors with Family
This hotel is perfect for first-time travelers to Hong Kong with family. It offers a free shuttle service to the train station, which is super convenient. The breakfast buffet is delicious and has a good variety. Just a few things to note: there’s no ATM on-site, they don’t offer currency exchange, and the laundry facilities require coins—so plan ahead. Overall, a comfortable and family-friendly stay!

The beds are extremely hard and squeaky. Sheets were not cleaned and replaced when asked.

Stayed in the sea view room, the view is excellent. Although the interior of the room is a bit dated, generally is clean, with clean bed linens and towels, no smell. The shower leaks water into the floor, but the staff are quick to fix. There are transport available to nearby suburb Tsuen Wan, where there are huge shopping malls. Also free hotel shuttle to nearby MTR stations. In general is good value for the price, would stay here again.

Good location between the Hong Kong Airport and Disneyland. For most of the days the weather was very nice - borderline heat wave the way it was hot. And so I question why the pool was not made available to guest for seasonal reasons.

The hotel itself is beautiful on arrival and well decorated and maintained throughout.
