Comfortable stay.
Pros:

The breakfast options are really good. Room with garden view was really nice. It has a lift which is helpful for the elderly.

Cons:

Bathroom is small but good. Well maintained.

Wonderful Staff
Pros:

.The hotel is beautiful, with a garden in the center, really needed for resting and breathing after a day near the Gangues
. The room was very comfortable, the beds very good
Breakfast had everything you asked for. and all the dishes we had for dinner were very tasty
But the best of all is the staff, all of them polite
Most of all Mr Shailendra Singh, that helped us with everything we needed and more.
Mr Santos and Mr Andiv helped to find train, and Radiu, the driver was very nice, with good english, professional and knowledgeable about whatever we asked himfrom around the city

Comfortable place to stay in busy Varanasi but rather old-fashioned.
Pros:

The history and grandeur of the place.

Cons:

It was difficult to build a good relationship with many of the staff. There were a lot of them involved for even the simplest of tasks. We also had the feeling that they were expecting tips for most things. This doesn’t fit with the European mindset. Other similar hotels have tip boxes which are then shared. This would be better. Good relationships between the customers and staff are vital for a good stay. I hope this helps.
