All great
Nothing
staff were very helpful and friendly, the food was excellent, we eat in the hotel in the evening and the food, especially the vege options were good and the option closed was very tasty. The room was large enough with a view on the street which was good. We didn't realise how well placed the hotel was until we arrived, it was a great location for what we needed, close to the tube and the river.
was great can't think of anything negative - really enjoyed our stay
Very clean, well maintained

La ubicación
Habitaciones muy pequeñas
Jeg likte beliggenheten og den tradisjonelle stemningen.
Pubkonseptet passer ikke meg så godt.
Super Preis-Leistung, feines und reichhaltiges Frühstück
Really lovely friendly boutique hotel bang opposite Waterloo with nicely appointed rooms. Booked a single and the room had more than you'd expect in your usual single - safe, fridge with complimentary water and milk, a nice selction of tea, coffee machine and shortbread biscuits. Light fittings were lovely as was the room decor. All in all very good.
Pillows were a bit too soft and flat for me (one was feather) so could have benefited from another firm one for height.Shower was very small and the rainforest showerhead made it very difficult to shower without getting your hair wet or water all over the floor. Could probably do with being a smaller head and regular descaling to improve nozzle direction.
The location was great right in the middle of Southbank. The bed was comfy and the room had many thoughtful amenities. The breakfast and food in the pub was excellent. Having a nice coffee service in the room was great and the little bottles of milk were a lovely touch.
The door to the rooms in the alleyway felt a bit unsafe and that area was very smelly. It would be better to come through the hotel. There are stairs to be aware of, and you can definitely hear the trains, but that didn’t bother me.
The room was clean. The full healthy breakfast and the Nespresso machine in the room, the complimentary snack and drinks in the fridge.
I arrived when there was football going on and the pub was packed. I was a little bit confused and didn’t know if it was the right place at first but my google map said I have arrived. Finally saw a staff and I approached her if it was the right place. She asked me to wait for someone to check me in. I waited about 15-20mins before someone came to check me in. Which was so unwelcoming. Bear in mind, it was very noisy and rowdy. Not the kind of reception that I wanted after a long train ride to London. My room was at the topmost floor after 3 flights of windy stairs after a long day.
I didn’t like the pub like feel. The room was so small and tight. The bathroom door could not close and the single bed was so close to the bathroom, that all you could smell was bathroom. There was no window in the bathroom although there was an extractor fan but the window in the room goes really steamy after having a shower and it took a long time to let the steam out of the room with the air conditioner fan, especially when you feel cold after coming out of the shower. It was very annoying, as the window can’t open, it was sealed.
I didn’t feel like a guest. I felt like they were doing me a favour. Won’t be back. Staff could be more friendly and helpful and less interrogative.
Great solution on offer
Breakfast to be hotter
Location close to an event I attended
Difficult to reach the window blinds across the bed
Frokosten og området
