Clean room, helpful staff, ideal location.
I had a very pleasant stay. The room was clean and well maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my visit. The hotel is conveniently located with plenty of shops nearby, which made things very easy. The air conditioning worked perfectly, keeping the room comfortable. Overall, a great experience and I would stay again.

The team at the Cheya are fantastic! Very friendly, very helpful. They were quickly able to resolve every little problem, with a smile and fantastic courtesy! The hotel is currently undergoing a restoration, and will be better still with fresh modern facilities when complete
Most of the staff I encountered were wonderful (just the daytime registration clerk on my checkout day was a little lacking in friendliness and helpfulness). The blinds on the windows in my room would not go down the last fort and a half, so I couldn’t make it dark in the room. Hotels.com says I was supposed to get a complimentary beverage and room upgrade (I’m not sure that there is more than one type of room at this hotel), but when I asked about the beverage I was told that I got a complimentary Breakfast instead. This may be accurate, but I thought breakfast was already included. The hotel is undergoing a major renovation, so most floors are a mess, but I was on the 5th floor and didn’t hear any of the construction unless I was in the lobby, the restaurant or the elevators. I liked the location and the small size of the hotel.

She went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect—her personable and supportive demeanor truly made a difference.
From the moment we walked in, the front desk staff demonstrated exceptional problem-solving skills and kindness. The cleaners were equally amazing—respectful and thorough in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
The hotel’s location is unbeatable, close to many attractions and within walking distance of the water. It made exploring the city so convenient.

I live in room 401 I liked everything friendly
Heating system was not active and AC was not working. There was hot water. Room cards was not working and staff have to come with you to open the door w every time you get out. Breakfast was really good. Also parking spot of the hotel big plus.
The area is so crowded, it os very difficult to access the place. Reception is not friendly at all. beds are ok, however the bathroom have a lot of mold.
Overall not recommended.
