Clean, friendly, but no frills!
Pros:

Very good location, 3 min walk from Hyogo station which is only 3 stops from Sannomiya, but none of the noise!
Hotel is basic and a bit dated, but clean and beds are comfortable. Shower was very powerful and the provided toiletries are of good quality.
There's a Lawsons nearby for any necessities, and a few restaurants too.

Cons:

The pillows are quite firm (Japanese style, filled with buckwheat?) a softer option would be better for my neck.
