Great Stay, Great Service, Great Location
Pros:

The hotel is conveniently located close to the Ancient Town and other attractions. Kunming Railway Station is approximately 20–30 minutes away by Didi.

Cons:

Overall, the stay was very pleasant. The staff were polite and helpful, especially Ms. Lucy and another staff member (apologies for not recalling his name), who assisted in arranging the car to the airport.

Pros:

Buona posizione, il centro città si raggiunge con una piacevole passeggiata. Buona colazione prevalentemente asiatica ma anche con scelta continentale. Staff gentilissimo, noi avevamo il volo in tarda serata e ci hanno consentito di tenere la camera fino a metà pomeriggio senza supplemento.

Grosses Zimmer, gutes Bett, geräumiges Badezimmer mit Walk-in Dusche, gute Lage Nähe Jinbi Square und Fussgängerzone, sehr gutes Morgenbuffet, nettes Personal

Cons:

Aus der Klimaanlage kam nur warme Luft. Die Zimmertemperatur bei Ankunft betrug 27 Grad. Auf Anfrage hin stellte das Hotel ein Kühlgerät zur Verfügung. Das half aber auch nicht. Wir mussten nachts die Balkontüre offen lassen, um schlafen zu können. Das haben wir mit Mücken im Zimmer bezahlt. Das Hotel wäre perfekt gewesen wenn die Klimaanlage funktioniert hätte.

Pros:

Хороший отель, в пешей доступности от Старых кварталов, где с удовольствием погуляли. Красивое лобби, хороший и большой номер.

Cons:

Показалось, что система кондиционирования не работала - не охлаждала. Открывали дверь на балкон (хорошо, что открывается - вид с 17 этажа впечатляет).

a pleasant central place to stay for a short trip in Kunming on the way to Lijiang
Pros:

the attentive service provided by front desk staff Devin. I left my blood pressure medication in the taxi I took from the airport to the hotel and the driver could not be contacted. Devin was extremely helpful. He helped me to locate a nearby pharmacy where I can buy the medication I needed. This is not an easy task as the name of my medicine is in English and he got it translated into Mandarin. He even got it written in Mandarin for me. I was really thankful because the pharmacist in the pharmacy can not speak English. Without Devin's help, I would have a see a local doctor in order to buy the medicine. I really want to thank Devin for his help. It's always the people that makes the difference on a trip, so my trip to Lijiang via Kunming was made special by the staff Mr Kevin from Crown Plaza city Kunming. Much appreciated.
