Christmas shopping trip
Pros:

Not our first time staying here, it never disappoints. Rooms are a good size, comfortable beds and a good shower. The bar/restaurant is great, amazing food, reasonably priced and breakfast is excellent.

A great hotel with good food and staff.
Pros:

Was a great stay. The room was fine, but the bed was a little uncomfortable- I think maybe put a think mattress protector or a new bed!
Food was great at dinner (scampi and pie) and a nice couple of drinks 👍🏼. The barmaid was lovely and she had lots to do.
Would definitely stay here again.

Cons:

Just bed needs attending to.

Below average and wouldn't stay here again
Pros:

The staff were friendly and the room had a great view onto fields.

Cons:

The room was very small. I couldn't have a shower as it was far less than average. The bathroom was even smaller and in my view unacceptable. The breakfast was very mediocre. Overall I would rate the stay as really not value for money. Wouldn't stay here again.

Perfect Stopover on the way north
Pros:

Such a friendly welcome on a quiet winter night. The superb food and drink was most welcome, and the room was warm and comforting.

Cons:

The bed was not the most comfortable but I'm splitting hairs as the overall experience was fantastic.

Comfortable hotel in a great location
Pros:

Comfortable room, plenty of onsite parking, great breakfast. Only ate dinner once, which was very good with big potions. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Room was comfortable but was a bit dated and could do with a refresh, Housekeeping only attended once during our 3 night stay.
