Wedding venue/hotel a short drive from Gretna
Pros:

Primarily a wedding venue in the countryside north of Gretna in a converted mill and farm. Quiet when we were there midweek. Ground floor accommodation blocks. Plenty of free parking. Restaurant and bar. Freshly prepared breakfast. Friendly staff.

Cons:

4’6” bed was too firm and a bit small for us.

A really pleasant stay
Pros:

Clean and comfortable, good position for stop off on journey to Scotland. Very nice dinner and breakfast, food reasonably priced. The staff were all pleasant and helpful.

Cons:

The room was well appointed but was looking slightly tired and could do with a refresh.
