The whole place was quaint, and different from most hotels. Staff were friendly and helpful.
It was all good
stayed for our 20th wedding anniversary as we got married here, lovely staff all so friendly, we upgraded to the bridal suite and it was perfect
our only issue was the bed was not as soft as we would of liked it.

Location
Rooms were of a poor standard. Bathroom window didn’t lock in our room. Only 1 coat hanger each in the open wardrobe. Bathroom mirror light didn’t work. Also the restaurant was too close to night time disco. Breakfast was really poor quality in comparison to many 3 star hotels we have been to and the breakfast time from 7:30-9 is too short and the check out time is too early at 10 am. Food average at best.

The location was very nice. The room was comfortable. Very impressed that when Tv wasnt working to watch the World Cup final that we were very quickly helped and moved to another room. We were checking in late and it was lovely to receive a call to let us know where to pick up the keys for our room.
We liked it. It had everything we needed...just missing on little things that would make a difference e.g some biscuits in room. Being asked if we would like anything else to eat or drink in the restaurant area but think they had a new trainee who was very nice, but still learning the ropes
Its location. The staff were lovely and cheerful. The food was good.
The internet connection was very dodgy.
Staff went above and beyond without having to ask. Especially the person who checked us in and out. Even making sure we had a fan and a little fridge for milk that was needed for dietary needs. Without even asking! Amazing, thank you.

Stayed for one night on a journey further north . Nice spacious room with comfortable bed and good shower area. Lots of road noise outside but non inside. It's prime focus is as a wedding venue but we had a nice evening meal in the bar area with a wedding reception in an adjacent area. Breakfast was efficient and we were soon on our way.
