Fire alarm
Pros:

Overall it was a pleasant stay here, however, we was woken up at 8am with every fire alarm in the building blaring - whats worse is that there were no staff on the premisis to turn it off. There were several people including me and my girlfriend who didn't grab our key cards and so were locked out of the room until staff showed up an hour later.

Pros:

Unfortunately we didn't end up staying at the accommodation. As we entered the room. We were met with an unclean smell. There was marks on the walls from the previous users. The facilities were less than basic. The windows of the room were very dirty and hairs in the bedding. The room was basically was a box with 3 beds in, not enviting at all. My daughter refused to stay here as she felt very unsafe. There was nothing to encourage us to stay. Maybe if there was furnishings it may have given off a better feel. I wouldn't recommend this stay to anyone really unless they dont mind staying in less than basic.

Reasonable price but dated room.
Pros:

The price was reasonable and it has a good sized car park. The room was very dated and not very clean. There was only one plug outlet available in the room making it very difficult for charging devices (there was 3 of us oncluding one child so we had a few)
The room was however spacious.

Disgusting. Please don’t stay here!
Pros:

If I could give zero stars, I would.
Reception is the only clean part. The stairs are old, dirty and had cigarette butts on them, INSIDE on the way to the room. First impression of the room, dirty. Made me feel itchy. There were no bulbs in the lamps, no batteries in remotes. The windowsill was damp and mouldy, the curtains dirty and smelly. The bath and sink were dirty, old and had HAIR in them. The bathroom door handle fell off as soon as it was touched. The bed very uncomfortable and stained. Holes in the walls. I spoke to the ‘manager’ about all of it and I told him I didn’t feel comfortable having my 2 young children stay there. I wanted a refund and I booked another hotel, cheaper and much much cleaner. He was adamant to show me another room ‘with a door handle that works’ which was the only part he went on about and ignored the rest. He wouldn’t give me the refund but I have taken this to Manchester and Liverpool papers so far who have given me a time to share the story with them and send them pictures. I drove all the way from Aberdeen to this hotel and I will be taking it to other papers too and I will make sure nobody stays here. If I had got a refund I’d have left it but clearly they only care about their very over priced payment rather than their customers
