The online pictures do not reflect the actual conditions of the Hotel. It needs a lot of cleaning. I asked to change the first room they gave me, because it needed more cleaning in the bathroom. Ms. Alkndary kindly changed the room to an OK one. The new one did not have a chair, the freg. Was out of its place.
I chose the hotel based on its online pictures.
Thanks
The conditon of the room wasnt good as compared to price.
The Hotel is okay, but the receptionist took lot of time to find the reservation. They need to improve their skills and don't waste the time of customers.
Nice, I'll back again
Comfort and pleasant
Front desk and guest services need improvement. Rooms are not as promised. Bathrooms are not in good shape. Overall, this hotel needs renovation.
Unfortunately. the hotel room was very bad:
1. My room (and most of the hotel floors) was very smelly.
2. The room did not have internet.
3. The bed sheets were looking un-clean.
Big issue with reservation. Hotel missed the original reservation and was inflexible to re-activate. Had to create a new booking waiting for another employee to cancel original order.
Overall, not as good as I thought it was. Zero room facilities (usually found in 3 star hotels: tea, coffee, glasses, water, Nothing)
Had to book at last minute as guys at "Hotel Rowaa Golden", refused to accept by CONFIRMED booking made through website HOTELS.COM. Had to pay double the money for half the service.
Only good thing was that it was closer to haraam than Rowaa Golden, but still over rated and over priced
The whole experience is good as it close to local shopping parade food & etc. Hotel got oun transport to main gate every 10 min whic is excellent. I will stay again it's well worth the monie.
The rooms were terrible. They smelled bad and there were a lot of old folks with their room doors open all over our floor. It seemed more like a Old folks home than a hotel. We immediately requested a refund from the hotel upon seeing the rooms and thankfully they were nice enough to grant it.
The guy at the check in counter was very friendly. The hotel is less than 10 mins walk from the Haram.
It was nice, clean and comfortable. The visit to Holy Haram was also facilitated with the help of hotel's shuttle bus.
It was all satisfactory.
please dont stay if you are with family and old person with u. Dont leave your valuable things in room, Room service has taken Mobile phone from our room, while we were out. I stayed in hotel 24th march in Room number for 3 nights. Complaint at reception but they did not take any action.
They are big cheater I bought the room with break fast once I arrived the hotel informed me with out breakfast .
Hotel was fairly clean, and thankfully the hot water system was working this time. However only two towels were provided. This is the third year I have used this hotel and they still do NOT provide wi-fi in the rooms, only in the lobby and connection is slow. Although a very good shuttle service is provided from the hotel to the Haram, at peak prayer times, there is so much traffic it is quicker to walk to the Masjid, and sometimes, such as at Jumma, they may not run the service as the traffic police close the road towards the Haram. The main reason I book this hotel is that it is fairly good value. The room rate is normally lower than other hotels closer to the Haram. Almost always they give the option to cancel the booking up to a day or two before arrival, and they provide reasonable breakfast, although this time I thought it was a little disappointing and bland. Although it is 10 to 15 minute walk from the Haram, they do provide a useful shuttle bus service. The other good thing for me is that the hotel is right next to the Second Ring Road so when I leave the hotel for Jeddah and Jeddah Airport I can get away quickly without having to go through the centre of Mecca.
It was very Shocking that during my stay of three nights; no house keeping was done
The hotel is good, but there was no internet in the rooms (only in the lobby) and also the safes in the rooms are not working.
