I wouldn't stay there again.
Pros:

The lobby was nicely decorated. The restaurant/bar lobby level was good, in terms of food and drink. The rooftop bar was very small, but the view was amazing of the Empire State building. The location was central to a lot of things.

Cons:

The room was claustrophobic. I have stayed in a lot of NY hotels and this was the smallest room I've ever stayed in. There was about 1-2' all the way around the bed. There was an ironing board in the tiny closet, but there was no where to set it up to be able to iron anything. There was no drawer storage. The desk was unusable.
I had a late flight out on a Monday and asked for a late check out, but the hotel would not grant it.
The front desk staff was great the day of check in and check out, but rude the other days.
The noise on my floor was high, as there were parties of young women who were quite vocal.
For the price, the value just wasn't there for me.

Truly enjoyed our stay! Best view from our room and very kind employees!
Pros:

Location was perfect! It was easy to find and close to great restaurants and subway. The hotel felt as a very safe place! The employees were so kind abs very service minded!!!
We ordered a room on highest floor with a view to Empire State - and it was even better than what we expected!!

Great hotel overall, worth a stay.
Pros:

Very centrally located, very friendly and welcoming staff. A good size room and bathroom for central NYC, very clean and comfortable.

The rooftop bar has excellent views over the city, particularly at night when all the building are lit up.

Cons:

The AirCon in the room was a bit noisy, but could be turned off.

It would have been nice to have been told on arrival that the hotel has an arrangement to use a local gym for free. I ended up paying for a gym as I wasn't made aware until the last day of my stay that I could use one for free.

Solid stay in the heart of NYC
Pros:

Staff was very friendly and helpful. And the location was great in terms of being very central and close to major attractions and transportation.

Cons:

Beds were not the most comfortable and we could not get the temperature to adjust. So the room was ALWAYS freezing.
