The Front Counter is staffed by professional, kind and welcoming employees...and that's the best way to describe Chrisella at the front desk!
When I first met Chrisella, I had just traveled from Connecticut during the biggest blizzard the Northeast has had in nearly 50 year's.
I had stayed the night and was in the are to provide Surgical Guidance and Support at Johns Hopkins Children's Hospital.
Due to the level of flight cancelations and a second added surgery, I returned back to see if I could book 2 additional nights at Staybridge Suites.
For obvious reasons and its proximity to a major Hospital and convenience of being located moments away from Tampa International Airport...the room availability was limited...and thats putting it kindly.
Chrisella went above and beyond and even included her management, who also took part in exploring all of the available, and creative methods in getting me a room.
With my mission accomplished, a clean, quiet and comfortable room secured, Chrisella took the time to explain the evenings events and cool features and amenities, that this fantastic facility offers.
So yes...I'm an IGH member but we need to recognize the frequently overlooked individuals that make you feel like your home...even when your actual home is under 3 feet of snow!!!

The service that we got from Princess and check-in was above and beyond. She is a real asset to the hotel.
I started off by talking to princess at the front desk a week before my reservation just to ask a few questions. She was amazing. You definitely have to give her a raise then the night before to confirm my reservation and had some interaction with her during the day when I was there She goes above and beyond. Rumc is clean beds were comfortable. The breakfast buffet is more than adequate fresh fruit, hot boiled eggs, oatmeal waffle maker, which is the most important thing to me and some other hot items. Also, they do have a soda machine for breakfast not just juices which I did like.-. my only downfall of the hotel is that some people were raised in Barnes and are very inconsiderate throughout the course of the late night early morning. People just walk out. Talk loudly in the hallway and just let their door slam. I think a lot of times it was the people next to us cause our room was connected and the whole room would shake doors are heavy, but that's probably my only complaint it's not the hotel. It's the people with no common sense of not letting the door slam like a moron, but it was an awesome stay.. and like I said, whoever the manager is there I hope you're listening. Princess made my stay great definitely a raise
Check in process was perfect. Princess was excellent and made me feel welcomed. Room was spacious and clean. Overall hotel was nice
Our trip to St Pete for an overnight vacation ended badly. We returned to our hotel at 1030 pm, only to find there was NOT ONE Parking space. The hotel had no recourse for us. No offer to move us to another IHG property nearby or send us to a public lot with a free UBER ride back etc.
We ended up making the long drive home. Thank goodness we COULD get here. What would an out of state guest do?
The next day, when we called IHG we received 12,000 points and our points back from the stay that wasn’t.
I will never stay at this Staybridge again until they find an easy solution for the parking problem. It’s too bad, because the location is excellent and it’s a decent place to stay. . We’ve stayed here before, so knew the parking was tight, but never ended up as the “odd man out” in this crazy musical car game.
One last comment; clearly this is not an unusual situation. Next door there is a business with a parking lot. There was a tow truck sitting there, just waiting to tow cars away. At the front desk there is a sign clearly stating not to park there. When you enter the lot (the easiest way to turn around to check for a parking space on your second try) there is also a sign stating cars will be towed.
We have stayed here 4 times in the last 2 months and I can say that the staff here are excellent from Princess at the front desk to the managers to the breakfast staff. They are so friendly, welcoming and willing to assist you with your needs. Overall they make your stay a positive experience.
Great, clean and comfortable. Sakina at the front desk was very helpful ! The location is quiet and away from the noise of downtown, but close enough for convenient access.
Everyone at this hotel is extremely friendly, and willing to help with anything you need. The check in experience was great with friendly customer service.
The breakfast area is great and very well maintained. Donnie in this area was on top of helping customers while also ensuring everything was clean and properly stocked.
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in St Pete.
I had a really positive experience at the Staybridge Suites in St. Pete. My room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Princess at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful during my stay.
This hotel is a great stay. The staff was all very helpful especially Princess at the front desk. The room was very cozy and comfy . I highly recommend this hotel to my friends and family.!
The buffet was very nice. Donnie was great to talk with me. He discussed how the buffet hopefully adds to the guest experience.
Great atmosphere, the room was very clean and the staff was also very friendly. Had to book this at the last minute for work, glad I did. Princess checked me in and was very helpful!
This hotel had everything we needed for a comfortable, convenient stay. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was excellent, everything is clean, the kitchen is fully equipped and allowed us the opportunity to heat or even cook some food. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. As someone who has to eat, gluten-free, a special shout out to Donni in the kitchen who is able to make me a guaranteed gluten-free egg dish one morning. That kind of kindness was greatly appreciated. Also, the front desk staff were wonderful. In particular, Chrisella was so helpful in changing our room at a moments notice. The location is extremely convenient and we were able to walk to so many of the attractions we wanted to see. We would stay here again.
Room was good and front desk service from Princess great.
However, middle of night a smoke alarm in hallway began chirping and when contacting front desk nothing was able to be done— “our maintenance will be in at 9 am”. Definitely not helpful and it was tough to sleep.
Princess was professional and very Efficient. Also her day shift manager was also very helpful. The 5-7 social also had very good food and wine
Chrisella at the front desk and the Sales Manager were a big help to me when I needed to stay late for a meeting. Wonderful service!! Thank you!!!
I checked into 525 Monday evening & my room had no wash rags, but Princess took care of it. Made sure I had enough for my stay.
