It’s so good, that we’ll come back here the next time we come to Bali.
Pros:

Everything - the staff, breakfast, hotel grounds, but most of all the location was the best. Straight onto the boardwalk, 2 mins walk to Icon mall. Can rent bicycles all along the boardwalk. It was great for my 77 year old mother and my 11, and 14 year old boys. They loved Respati the most out of our entire Bali trip.

I’m sad to be writing a negative review amongst so many positive but my stay was not as expected. We’ve stayed in Bali many times and this is hands down the worst hotel I’ve stayed in. It obviously is quite dated which I didn’t mind but for a mid-range hotel, the standard was very low. The room and bathroom were dirty, mould on the ceiling, stained sheets and shower spraying in all directions and mixed pressure. Not as much of an issue but in Bali it is the norm to be shown to your room and supported with your luggage. This was not the case and we were left to find that we were on a second floor and had to haul the luggage up ourselves. I can imagine this to be very difficult for a couple older than ourselves or for people with small children. The breakfast was also below average. I don’t recommend staying here.

I know why we keep returning. It’s perfect for us.

Breakfast substantial. Staff wonderful. Location perfect. Gardens magnificent. Beach in front enjoyable.

Wie immer war alles perfekt! 🫶 Alle sind hier super freundlich – sowohl an der Rezeption als auch beim Frühstück. 🫶 Dieses Hotel ist einfach mein Lieblingshotel. Ich bin schon sehr oft hier und komme immer wieder gerne. ❤️

Seperti biasa, semuanya sempurna! 🫶 Semua orang di sini sangat ramah—baik di resepsionis maupun saat sarapan. 🫶 Hotel ini benar-benar hotel favorit saya. Saya sudah sering sekali menginap di sini dan selalu senang untuk kembali. ❤️

Cons:

Das Zimmer war insgesamt in Ordnung, aber der Holzfußboden war leider nicht gut. Er war stark gewellt und sollte dringend erneuert werden. Ich würde empfehlen, stattdessen Fliesen zu verlegen. In den anderen Zimmern, in denen ich früher übernachtet habe, waren Fliesen verlegt, und das war deutlich besser.

Secara keseluruhan, kamarnya cukup baik, tetapi lantai kayunya sayangnya tidak dalam kondisi yang baik. Lantainya bergelombang parah dan sebaiknya segera diganti. Saya menyarankan agar lantai tersebut diganti dengan ubin. Di kamar-kamar lain tempat saya pernah menginap sebelumnya, lantainya menggunakan ubin, dan itu jauh lebih baik.

Definitely needs bedside lamps. Awkward to have to find switch on wall in the dark. Powerpoints needed beside bed and on wall for kettle rather than in bathroom

Great location, quiet and close to everything. Sunrise is hard to get up to,but so worth it. Last year l found turtle eggs just laid, best experience ever.Sanur is relaxing and less stressful than the East Coast of Bali.
