Newly renovated art-deco building on Broadway in Downtown LA. Modern paint schemes while accentuating the MCM architecture. Furnishings are artsy but functional and security is top notch.
And for you art lovers, there’s a Bansky right across the street.
Well, and I’m solely attributing this to my special rate through Booking, I requested a balcony room - the room itself was delightful! And balcony is old style Ne York metal with a small round table and two chairs.
What didn’t I like? The fact that I was placed on the 3rd floor and the view from my entire balcony was blocked by the only billboard on the block. I didn’t complain but did mention that I assumed I was given that room due to my Booking reservation. The very polite front desk attendant actually admitted it through a slight nod. It was still a very comfortable stay.

Lage in Downtown sehr zentral - alles gut erreichbar.

On the weekends at night since your by the theatre it gets a little loud

Stayed here for my husbands birthday and the staff left my husband a birthday card and some snacks and a small bottle of champagne. Really enjoyed the ameneties the hotel had to offer. Really enjoyed our stay here. The staff was so nice and helpful. Will definitely stay again. The room was big and spacious and the bed was so comfotable. Loved the color scheme and all the decor throught the hotel. There is rooftop bar/club that my husband and I really enjoyed. The coffee shop downstairs had really great coffee.
Not being able to control the AC. It seems the AC was set at 74 degrees which is not bad at all but at times I wish i was able to lower the temperature and was unable to.
I would say to be honest the only thing I liked about this place would probably be that there was a 24 hour Mexican restaurant open on the side but other than that I couldn’t recommend this place
I paid for a certain room and when I got there, they told me the room that I paid for it was not available so they upgraded my room which I thought would be an amazing compensation for what happened I get to the room. They gave me the air conditioner does not work then I let them know so I left for about an hour and I went back and they put a air conditioner in the window, which made no difference so then they gave me to another room. That was a dark room where the air conditioner took about six hours to kick in fully as well, and they still put another air conditioner in the window plus the room has such bad humidity that all of the bedding was very wet to the touch. The mini fridge that they provide did not have any button to cool it down so the mini fridge was so hot the shower in the restroom. The faucet fell off when you tried to use it. They couldn’t figure out how to get the right temperature on the shower. So ya Customer service was good. That’s all. I could probably say that was a positive for myself. I will never be taken recommendation from a Instagram post because I felt duped!!!
