My thoughts on Madison LES
Pros:

The location was good. Although it seems to be in a quieter side of the Lower East Side, it is actually really close to Chinatown and by extension, Soho.

It was also clean and comfortable.

Cons:

Not providing a bottle of water in the room and making you pay for it. Small thing but it impacts on the customer experience.

It’s a small convenient room for one or two people max. However, for the price paid, I would rather stay at Fairfield I
Pros:

It was close and convenient to where I needed to get to.

Cons:

Too close under the bridge that I could hear the trains running all night long. Also I could hear people next door and above me screaming, laughing, banging doors all through the night. The room was small and the bed sheets had stains.

Easy and comfortable stay.
Pros:

Loved our room - even if it was a little small. BEd was comfortable. The breakfast in the mornings were good. The front desk staff was friendly and accomodating and super helpful. We enjoyed our stay here very much.

Cons:

Nothing to not like, really. No issues and no complaints.

Comfortable and fun
Pros:

The staff kindly upgraded me to a room on the top floor, where the hallway is essentially an exposed terrace with a number of tables and chairs. The area was quiet and very sunny in the morning, and I enjoyed that tremendously. I also love that neighborhood, which is a cross-section of Chinatown and the Lower East Side, steps away from Nolita and the East Village. The staff was also accommodating and friendly.

Cons:

There could’ve been written instructions on how to use the shower.
