Otherwise we had a lovely time and enjoyed the pool area.
Pros:

Location was my favourite, close to everything. Breakfast was good as well!

Cons:

I had to remind the staff 4 times for my daughters cake which I requested as it was her birthday and that why we travelled there. It only arrived at 10 at night after reminding them again and again.

The experience could have been elevated with simple fixes. It didn’t help that we were coming from

The presidential suite was spacious with amazing views.

Cons:

Shower in the presidential suite was not good. The drainage was not effective as there was always a puddle of water after you’re done showering. The tiles need an upgrade fast. The locked up Balmain moisturizer bottle didn’t have any moisturizer in it. The rooms and the hotel lobby needs to smell better. Breakfast should be improved. We understand the importance of preserving the earth and recycling but please towels should be fresh.

We had a satisfactory stay at Sofitel.
Cons:

Check in took close on 40 minutes. There were two long queues with only two receptions working. Really bad service.
