The hotel was clean, the room was spacious, and the location was right in the heart of the city.

Cons:

Everything was great except for one unpleasant experience. At around 9 AM, while I was still sleeping, housekeeping knocked on my door and asked if I was checking out yet. I had already confirmed with the front desk that check-out time was noon, and I had planned to check out at 11 AM. Being disturbed so early in the morning, especially when I still had plenty of time before check-out, was frustrating and made for a terrible start to my day. Everything else was good, but this experience was disappointing.

A great place to stay
Pros:

Easy to navigate! Staff was exceptional! We travel a lot, this was the first time in years we were truly impressed with everything. We are from Edwardsville, and enjoy the small family owned shops. Champaign has surpassed it lol. Your employees made us feel welcome to their community. Also, we had a perfect view of the city. Thanks, a girls trip to remember. We will return.

Overpriced. Disappointing from Hyatt.
Pros:

Spacious room

Cons:

The room we were given had a guy spraying pesticides. So we had to go downstairs again and wait ten minutes for another room. Mold in the bathroom, loud location, trucks coming and going late into the night and early evening. Maids talking loudly just outside our door at 8 am then vacuuming. Not much sleep.

Staff not too attentive. All doors to back offices and storage rooms are wide open. One had the sense they treated this not as a hotel but as a normal workplace. We had better experiences at a Cheap motel.

Decent option for UIUC
Pros:

Breakfast is okay. Standard American breakfast

Cons:

Parking is by yourself. I had to carry my luggage up myself using the bell cart. WiFi was slow. It is a little far from the UIUC freshman dorms.
