A truly special experience
Pros:

We have booked an A-bungalow (panoramic sea view) for one week, as part of our Thailand trip in March-April 2025. We wanted something traditional, but also with a certain level of comfort. Arriving there we discovered how incredibly beautiful the entire setting is: a sea view that one can enjoy from bed when waking up in the morning, the private beach with the restaurant and bar with all the furniture made from old wood, the pool and the upper level restaurant. Very cozy and clean bungalow, very good food, and most importantly very friendly and helpful staff. We ended up having at least 2 meals a day there -- given our restrictions in diet, both Bear and Nui have been very helpful in identifying all the right possibilities and making sure we got very tasty food that fulfilled our needs. We ended up booking a snorkeling trip based on their recommendation, and were very happy with it. We also had hotel own scooters for most of the time. A truly outstanding experience and package that we hope to repeat again.

I'll be back
Pros:

I kind of don't want to recommend this place too much, cause I want to keep it all to myself. A hidden piece of pure paradise. We are here in the off season so not all the facilities are up and running fully, i.e. beach bar. But everything we need has been catered for and more. Jum is our hostess and she has steered us onto fantastic tours so we made the most of every day.

Perfect hideaway for our family
Pros:

Had the plesure of staying 11 nights at Narima. The Beach is a little piece of paradise with a cosy Beach bar/restaurant (great cocktails😎), quiet atmosphere and funny animals to explore for the kids. Very Nice pools and really clean and well maintained resort. Bungalows is quite new and sound proof. Breakfast was good. BUT the best was their extremely service minded and sweet staff. Helped us with rental of scooters, booking of tours etc. Always careful not to send us on long tours if wind/waves was too wild and had a solution to all of our inquiries.

Will come back if ever on Lanta again!

Excellent Service, Sun & Shade
Pros:

Cottages are comfy with excellent balconies which provide really comfortable chairs and hammock in the much needed shade with stunning view of the sea. Private beach is great and easily accessible from the tiered pool which is also lovely and well kept. All staff are helpful, friendly and eager to please. Food was good, provided complimentary biscuits/bananas/ drinking water & insect repellent in reception. Would give 5 stars but tables & chairs in bar and restaurant wooden so not super comfy to sit for too long. Does attract families and can understand why. We had a really good 4 night stay- thank you to all

A good service for the price
Pros:

We only stopped at the restaurant for a lunch and I would surely recommend this place. It's not cheap, but you get what you pay for. A very friendly staff, delicious meals, a good service and a very pleasant environment...

We visited with 3 small kids and every parent knows it is a challenge to feed a toddler in a restaurant that serves foreign cuisine... well, in this place they did all they could to help us. They have baby chairs, colorful plastic cups and plates, free cookies, free drinking water refills, simply all of it.

We truly enjoyed our visit. And so did our kids. After several weeks in Thailand I can say the meals were probably the best we have had!

A true hidden paradise
Pros:

This is a resort that has a soul! We stayed at the Narima during the pandemics. It was almost empty, but this was a great experience. We were looking for a calm place with a "hidden" beach. The service and the food was excellent, the staff very friendly and the owners came by our table for a chat. We had a rare "hidden paradice" feeling during our week-long stay. Narima is close to the road, but you do not notice it. The vegetation is varied which gives good shade throughout the day. The pool stays cool thanks to the spring water supply. The nicely terrased lay-out of the resort gives many different views and possibilities to hang out. . The beach is natural with sand and rocks and enjoyable even during ebb. For the kids there are lots of nice rocks, shells and crabs to collect! When you feel lazy, you may just spend time in the hammock on the balcony of your bungalow.

Thanks for a great stay!

Nice small resort with rivale beach
Pros:

We booked 4 nights and after check in we were given a spacious villa with a very comfortable bed. The hotel has an infinity pool with very welcome shaded areas which also helps to keep it cool. They also have a small private beach with plenty of comfortable beds in the shade.
Breakfast is plenty and good choices. Plenty of free potable water, bananas and cookies in the lobby. We rented a scooter with the resort. The team was very friendly and the manager was very flexible when we had some unusual request. Thank you and I can certainly recommend staying here, especially if you are seeking a quiet location to unwind and relax.

Awesome resort, wonderful service!
Pros:

We had a fantastic time! They were wonderfully eco-conscious which is very important to us. The staff was friendly and super helpful. My husband hurt his leg and we had to go to the clinic, the wonderful staff at Narima arranged the entire thing. We had an awesome time and definitely encourage others to stay!

Beautiful location
Pros:

My boyfriend and I just returned from our trip to Thailand, which we ended with 4 days at Narima. It’s a beautiful resort on a quiet bit of the coast. The beach is partly rocky, partly sandy - personally I prefer this to a big long boring stretch of sand which is what you get further up the coast. It doesn’t stop you swimming and looks very pretty. We like to look for wildlife, and were pleased to see a variety of birds in the area including sandpipers, kingfishers, herons, bulbuls and sunbirds. Also around were the ever-present macaques, and plenty of frogs and geckos.

Our room was nicer than expected, on the A row so directly overlooking the sea, and well away from everything. Big, clean, new with a nice hammock!

We ate at the beach restaurant most nights and enjoyed the food - we found it cheaper, nicer and the setting more attractive than some more expensive restaurants around.

The only slight downside for us were the number of families with young children, as mentioned in previous reviews. Generally everyone was lovely. Early evening at the beach restaurant was sometimes (not always) busy with big family groups who dominated the waiters time, and the pools and breakfast buffet were also very full on. Otherwise it was not a problem - the room and the beach were peaceful - but worth mentioning if this sort of thing bothers you.

Fifth time back! Love it here
Pros:

Having been away for 8 years, my husband and I quickly rediscovered how much we love this place and why: a bucolic and magical jungle setting, leaf-engraved, winding sidewalks that lead to our private, thatched-roof bungalow with a hammock on our balcony that overlooks the sea, and a ceiling fan ( negating the need for annoying air conditioning), awesome food, super- friendly and competent staff, an infinity pool, and a beach tiki bar that could win competitions.

At night we laid awake and listened to the crashing waves on the rocky shore and jungle noises through our screened balcony sliding doors ( screens are great - I’m surprised how many expensive hotels do not have screens to enjoy the outdoors and keep bugs out). In the morning we enjoyed our favorite Thai breakfast food, Khao Tum Gai, for happy hour we watched beautiful sunsets by the sea, sipped yummy cocktails, and then we savored every bite of our evening meal: whole fish with chili and basil.

The Narima owners have made some renovations too—upgrading the interiors of the bungalow, refitting the baths, new thatched roofs, and additional security features.

At my request, they also provided a mosquito net over the bed. It is the jungle, so come prepared with appropriate clothing and bug spray. Spray is also kindly available at the reception for use in the restaurant, a huge wooden pavilion open to the air.

With many thanks to the gracious owners Dr Nopawan and Dr Yodchai, and the incredible staff,

See you soon again!

Four relaxing days on Koh Lanta
Pros:

We visited in off-season (June) and this was our first resort experience. We loved that there were few tourists but it was a little too quiet. I'm sure the experience is very different in high season. We found the staff to be lovely, the facilities are very nice but basic, and the restaurant was wonderful. We have kids so didn't ride motos around the island. If you don't have transport, you may feel trapped as there are no other shops or restaurants in walking distance. The beach is gorgeous, but rocky at high tide. I was nervous to have the kids battered around in the waves with big rocks. Oh. And dangerous jellyfish throughout the region in the off season. Not the resort's fault of course!

IF YOU DON'T LIKE SCREAMING BABIES AND TODDLERS THEN DON'T STAY HERE!
Pros:

Great resort, staff so helpful and friendly, the room was fantastic. We paid extra for the on of the bungalows on the front with a sea view. It was spoilt somewhat by lots of families with very young babies and toddlers staying at this resort. There was no respite from the crying at breakfast or on the beach. The pool was also monopolized by them as well. You can hire scooters at the resort which we did and went all over the island. Klong Nin is the nearest built up are with plenty of eating places and bars. Also Kantiang Bay is nearby with more restaurants. We had excellent food wherever we ate.The National Park at the southern tip of the island is worth a visit with a beatiful beach and as you make your way back up north there some more beautiful beaches Bamboo Beach, Klong Jark and Nui Bay. I have rated the resort as average because of noise from babies and toddlers. Take them out of the equation and the resort is excellent. There was no balance. The majority of guests were young families. There only two or three older couples during the whole of our stay. The beach is not secure and during our stay we noticed people from the next resort using the sun beds. There was no one from the hotel keeping an eye on your belongings when you went for a swim in the sea!

Pros:

Wir waren das 2. Mal im Narima. Es ist ein Schmuckstück auf dieser Insel. Service, Personal, bungalow alles super. Etwas weiter weg, aber mit Roller ist alles zu erreichen.
Ben und Tom an der Beachbar waren sehr coole Thais. Drinks und Essen waren hervorragend.

Tranquil paradise.
Pros:

The perfect spot for a quiet, relaxing holiday away from the crowds. We were humbled by the constant kindness of the staff, thoughtfully preparing us a take-away breakfast for our journey home, organising trips and transport for us and always with genuine warmth.
We cannot recommend the Narima highly enough. Spotless bungalows, lovely pool and private beach with a great restaurant happy to cater for two vegetarians. and everything always with a smile.
As two females travelling alone, we felt very spoilt and very safe indeed.
Probably a good idea to hire a car or scooter to see the rest of the island as the resort is a 30 minute walk to the nearest shops. The upside is you see lots of monkeys on your way and work up an appetite for your next delicious meal!
Many thanks to everyone at the Narima for making our stay such a special one.

Paradise without breaking the bank!
Pros:

We've just returned from our third visit to Narima and it remains our favourite holiday destination. Koh Lanta is a beautiful island for a laid back holiday and the setting of Narima couldn't be better with bungalows half hidden amongst the jungle going down to the gorgeous beach. This is not a luxurious resort but we give it five stars for comfort, value for money, friendly staff and great food. The beach bar is just perfect with quiet laid back music in the evenings but silence during the day. No need to dress up either! If soaking up the sun listening to the waves lapping on white sand is your idea of heaven, this is the place for you. I recommend hiring mopeds from the resort to explore the island... Lanta Old Town and the national park in particular are worth a visit if you can drag yourself away from the beach. And the Thai and oil massage at Narima is amazing for only 400 Baht (£9) for an hour.

Genialer Strand
Pros:
