Wonderful hotel in a majestic location with a wonderful host/owner
Pros:

The location of le Hotel la Pointe Percee is bang smack in the centre of the beautiful town of le Grand-Bornand nested in the Aravis Massif mountain range.

A lovely hotel oozing with charm, big quiet rooms (even the one we had overlooking the central square), an exceptionally friendly owner who lives on site and is always willing to offer advice and address any questions you may have, a wonderful breakfast offered, a large (indoor and outdoor) restaurant on the ground floor with a very good selection of food (although only associated with the hotel due to its location) and secure bicycle storage.

We loved every moment at the hotel and glad we picked it as a multi day stay on our 2026 Routes des Grande Alpes cycle ride. Highly recommended.

Hotel solo para época invernal con poco equipaje

Nos gustó la localidad de Le Grand-Bornand. Pueblo alpino muy bonito con un entorno precioso.

Cons:

Estuvimos en una habitación triple, sin embargo era insuficiente en tamaño para tres personas que íbamos. Entendemos que es un hotel sobre todo para la época invernal y de esquí, pero en agosto hace calor y la habitación carecía de aire acondicionado, por lo que pasamos mucho calor. Demasiadas escaleras, no hay ascensores, subir equipajes pesados hasta un segundo piso es un infierno.

Bien respirer la montagne en passant quelques nuits à l'hôtel de la Pointe Percée
Pros:

L'emplacement central.ke restaurant en dessous de l'hôtel, très pratique, je le conseil, personnel extra
La chambre très bien refaite bien que petite!
La salle du déjeuner en bois bien conservé

Cons:

La salle de bain vraiment micro!! Faut d'abord entrer, fermer la porte puis aller sur les WC!
Une porte coulissante si c'était possible aurait eu sa place
L'isolation phonique entre les chambres, mais je comprends, ancienne construction en bois.
Lit 140cm heureusement suis venue sans mon mari de 190cm;)

Hôtel charmant bien situé au Grand Bornand
Pros:

L’hôtel est très bien situé. La chambre est propre et bien aménagée. Le personnel est très agréable.
Le petit déjeuner était suffisamment varié pour nous.

Cons:

Le lit était trop petit pour deux. Les murs sont fins et nous pouvons entendre les discussions des autres chambres.

Prix du petit déjeuner pas différencié entre des adultes et une enfant de 4 ans.
La chambre n'était pas très propre à notre arrivée.
