We were told we would have complementary breakfast on our first day at stay , but we did not have breakfast on our first day as we were hurry to go to a place . We asked if we could have that breakfast on our second day , but they said they ‘No’

Stayed here with my colleagues for a work trip, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff made us feel welcome from the start.
The rooms were spotless, well-appointed, and perfect for both relaxation and catching up on a bit of work, the Wi-Fi was fast and reliable though.
The location is also ideal, close to both our work event venue and a variety of restaurants, so we could easily explore the area after business was done. Overall, it was a fantastic mix of comfort, convenience, and professionalism.
Highly recommend this hotel for any business travellers or groups looking for a balance of work and relaxation.

What a truly set hotel & the exceptional service from the reception staffs Rahul, Arun and Tushar. From the moment I arrived, they were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and professional. and they went out of their way to ensure all my needs as we arrived by 10 pm.
One of the features I appreciated most was the reliable hot water service at the time they mentioned. After a long day of exploring, it was a relief to return to a hot shower with consistent water pressure and this was a big plus for me.
The hotel itself was comfortable, clean, and well-maintained. I would highly recommend Hotel Silver Oak to anyone looking for a place where the staff genuinely cares.

We stayed for our honeymoon, and it was absolutely wonderful—especially considering the affordable price! The hotel went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, offering a perfect balance of memories and budget-friendliness.
Upon arrival, we were greeted with a beautifully decorated room that felt cozy and intimate. The attention to detail really made it feel like a special retreat for the two of us.
One of the highlights was the candlelight dinner arranged by the hotel. It was truly a magical experience, with a quiet, cliff top view that allowed us to enjoy a lovely evening together. Arun, Sujatha and Tushar with chef Vignesh took care to create a romantic and the delicious food—well beyond our expectations for a budget stay.
And then, there was the cake! We were surprised with a mouth-watering cake, fresh and decadent, that added the sweetest touch to our celebration. It was clear that the hotel took extra steps to ensure we felt pampered and celebrated on our special occasion.
We highly recommend it to any couples looking for a romantic getaway on a budget.

Hot water supply needs improvemebt. Insufficient. Bathroom taps and fauects were broken. TV remote was not working Water kettle in room was not working properly.

Lift not working, cleaning not done, full of passage is diary, It is old property renovation require in room too, Staff are not professional.

There was no hot water no drinking water no AC very bad

Reception struggled to find our reservation at check in. Room was basic, Very hard double bed. Kettle and a jug of water was supplied at check in, no further water given and room does not get made up.
We were in the main building annexe and it obviously had not been used for some time, smelt and felt damp. I know we are in the mountains and should expect lower temperatures. We were told hot water would only be available 7-10 both mornings and evenings but we had to ring reception several times to get the water turned on, and it didn't stay in for long
Positives.....good location, short walk into town and quiet at night. Hotel renovations during the day so very noisy.

Overall it was good but hot water in the morning was not so clean

hot water problem, only 2 hours in morning and evening is bit difficult, it should be 24 hrs...

stay was very good, staff are very kind and helping, hotel has a restaurant which provides excellent food, breakfast is free. Tour operator is in the hotel provides taxis and we had very nice 2 days tour of Ooty
