I requested the invoice via email on 08-Jan and I'm still waiting for a reply.
They were closed for renovations. We called Hotels.com customer service and the rep said they had to call and verify the hotel was closed. I had sent Hotels.com a picture of the lobby under construction. The rep said she no one picked the phone when she called. REALLY?!? How about because NO ONE is there! Then the rep said, she’ll send an email and confirm with them. Ok lady, please sit by your email and wait for no one to reply. The whole reason I took and sent the photo in the chat, so someone could actually see what I was saying. You had to call, ok. But when the line is either disconnected or no one picks up, kind of helps confirm my story. Because we really didn’t want to pay 3x’s more to stay somewhere. I’m the end, we were grateful we found somewhere else and this delay only put us back a few hours
Nothing.
Not as described- no spa bath, not even a plug for the bath. A room with a balcony requires climbing a wall and going down stairs into an adjoining property with no emergency exit. The toilet was not connected to the bathroom floor, one out of 4 lights were working, the bed was ancient, uncomfortable and had no fitted sheet, there are no bedside tables or power points and the entrance is blocked by motorbikes.

Good quality pool table for 20 baht per use, 2 free daily water bottles and clean towels, free beach towels, friendly 24/7 reception staff.
25 minute walk from Bangla road, with plenty of restaurants and shops on the way so the walk doesn’t feel long.
Room, especially bedsheets, smelt of cigarette smoke - but the smell reduced within a day.
Description for the room, as shown in the attached photo, states the standard double room that I booked has a balcony, but when we arrived we were told that the standard room is windowless, so that was difficult to swallow at first, but we quickly got used to it.
It was easy and fine, no problems, room was clean and the staff friendly and helpful. What is a pain is writing these reviews
