Great hotel, even greater customer service
Pros:

Nice room, everything looks brand new and it’s nicely cleaned and attention from personnel is the best, I would rate them 12/10 if I could, they went above and beyond when we forgot some stuff even after checking out.

Cons:

I would add a couple of more washing machines, those are really useful but they seemed to be at full capacity always.

Wonderful home base for Kyoto travel
Pros:

Immediately a calm, zen environment when walking into the lobby. The staff were so helpful and kind the whole time we stayed at the hotel. The included breakfast was incredible. The room was very cozy, clean and comfortable. The public bath was also a great way to wind down after a day of walking.

Great staff, excellent value and beautiful hotel
Pros:

Great location in a less-touristed but still cool neighborhood. Lots of good little restaurants nearby, and great to explore the surrounding area by foot.

Cons:

Nothing I didn’t like. The sento was nice but wish it had a rotemburō.
