Highly recommend this hotel as fantastic location & suggest booking a window for natural light
Pros:

Location was excellent & staff very great & always happy & helpful. Hotel facilities good & laundry was greatly needed. Bed was massive for 2 people.

Cons:

The window was privacy frosted which aware when booking but did make the room feel closed in. Bed hard as most are in Japan.

Tolles Hotel in Kyoto
Pros:

Das Hotel ist traditionell und gleichzeitig modern eingerichtet. Die Lage ist mitten in Kyoto und die nächste U-Bahn Station nur ca 5 min zu Fuß entfernt. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und das Personal super freundlich.

Cons:

Die Lüftung im Badezimmer lies sich nicht abschalten. Dem entsprechend hat diese Nachts gestört.

Excellent location.
Pros:

Very good location. Many buses nearby to various sights. Big bedrooms with big comfy bed. Beautiful interior.

Cons:

Some guests not following the etiquettes for the
Onsen like bringing mobile phone into the wash area and not wash properly or worse still, not washing at all before going into the bath.

Hotel bellissimo, struttura stupenda. A 5 minuti dalla metro. Staff gentilissimo e super professionale.
Ottime stanze e ottimo servizi. Già dall'entrata capisci di stare in un bellissimo hotel.bpossibilitandi fare la colazione, caffè gratis sempre a disposizione.

Adequate, but overpriced.
Pros:

Extremely well located. Not very far from anywhere we tried to go. Lobby is nice enough. Rooms are a good size, although a bit sparse.

Cons:

Bathrooms are outdated and cramped. Windows are blocked somehow so you may feel a bit claustrophobic. We wanted to try the breakfast but it didn't seem like there were many vegetarian options. Overall, i had higher expectations because I had heard good things about the Mitsui Garden brand. And for the high price we paid too!
