Great location, very good staff
Booked a Superior Deluxe Pool View Room and got shoved out the back building, only pool I could see was the pool in the condo next door. Disappointed to say the least !

Op basis van de positieve reviews deze boeking gemaakt. En ik moet eerlijk zeggen, het is beste hotel dat ik heb gehad in Pattaya. Het begint al met de prettige ontvangst in de lobby. Ik had een super deluxe kamer en dan heb je het achterste gebouw. Voordeel was een hele rustige ligging zonder overlast van de beerbars. Ook het goede zwembad, het ontbijt en het uiterste vriendelijke personeel was fantastisch. Ik ga hier absoluut terugkomen.
Het enige dat nog iets beter kan is de fitnessruimte. De apparatuur kan een upgrade gebruiken, en misschien nog een koelkastje met water erbij. Maar dit is een minor punt in de totale beoordeling van het hotel. De uitkijk op het zwembad tijdens de fitness doet je hart wel weer sneller laten kloppen. :)

Stay here regularly, great location and great staff , very helpful .

Comfy room. Decent amount of space. Drying rack for clothes. Great breakfast, lots of options. 2 pools and lots of chair space. We were put in the second / middle building, it was quiet at night for street noise, but we could at times hear people above / beside us. Lots of food options, self serve laundry, 711 nearby.
The room didnt have a bath like what was pictured on booking. The area has a lot of not "child friendly" massage parlors and bars. This seems like a hotel where alot of men bring their paid for "dates" to finish the night. The area gets crazy with traffic at night and its impossible to get a taxi anywhere. We had to listen to 2 old British men talk lewdly about the woman they shared the night before at breakfast buffet and it was really gross. As a couple who is not interested in that at all, we wouldn't stay here again based solely on the clients it attracts, we would rather stay more north near terminal 21.

As Always the staff are very friendly, helpfull and always happy. Rooms are kept clean and hotel is in a great location.

Areca Lodges only saving grace is its location. The staff at the front counter (Tuan) were rude and gave the impression that you were intruding on their time. When you arrive you are pre-judged with staff assuming you are there only for sex. The rooms were average at best. Some of the rooms still have a shower over a bath and expect you to pay top dollar. Airconditioning in the room was not good. The variations in heat were average and even at night hot and cold. I was unable to connect to wi-fi. The technician that was provided new less than I did about wi-fi. Poor experience overall
4th time staying at ARECA LODGE every time we stay it's amazing, staff are very nice and polite, breakfast is very nice too

Stayed here recently with my hubby and 16 year old son for a family holiday.
Check in was easy, receptionists very friendly and no issues.
We booked adjoining rooms so we had a king bed and my son had twin beds in the next room. Room was spacious with a king bed and a corner single chair. There wasn't much storage in terms on drawers so it was sort of hard to juggle so many suitcases without having space to unpack anything.
Bathroom was nice. Big shower but water pressure wasn't very great from the hand held or the big shower head on top.
Facilities were nice - there were 2 swimming pools in full sun most of the day and a gym that opened from 8am to 8pm with good equipment.
Breakfast was included each day which was a lovely mixture of western and thai food so nice variety.
Location was excellent and just located in between Pattaya Sai Song Road and Soi Buakhao. For me, it's a shopping holiday so a baht bus is never far away from where I need to go.
All in all a good stay and will recommend and come back again :)
