Pros:

Very nice and quiet hotel, free coffee bar. Located close to the beach and some very good restaurants. There's a nice 18 hole Minigolf across the street which is free for hotel guests. Our family really loved it, we can only recommend this place for a stay in Parksville.

Convenient place to stay mid island while traveling on Vancouver Island
Pros:

Location while traveling on Vancouver island

Cons:

Rooms are dark and some are dark. Staff is not that helpful or welcoming. No breakfast or exercise facilities

For $330 a night I would have thought a breakfast would have been included.

Cons:

The bed was not comfortable and the AC was very loud. No amenities to speak of.

Good enough for a few nights
Pros:

The bed was super comfortable and the location was convenient for exploring the eastern side of the Vancouver Island. The mini golf across the street was very fun.

Cons:

The room seemed to be in a worse condition than on the photos. The kitchenette in particular did not seem to work very well - the fridge underneath it had a sign that said 'out of order', which did not fill us with confidence. The parking lot was also very crammed and quite difficult to navigate.
