Pity we only stayed one night. Will be returning for a longer stay to do the coastal walks.
Pros:

The location was excellent. Breakfast was served in a hamper in your room which was more than adequate. Everything you needed. Tea and coffee facilities provided along with milk in the fridge. The bed was so very comfortable and spacious. Towels were enormous and soft. Very friendly welcoming staff. Excellent food and cleanliness. Would highly recommend. Very comfortable hotel.

Cons:

Nothing.

First impressions very good but overall a very poor stay due to the cold room and water

Bad won’t be going back.
Pros:

My friend and I stopped for a meal before going to the Pier.. The young bar man was very pleasant and polite but the food was awful, fish chips £19 the chips were hard so left them, Cumberland sausage £17, it was a Chipolato in a circle, the gravy obviously used was red wine that was put in the pies, awful sour taste, the mash were grey and lumpy.. We won’t be returning.. £42 altogether.. we will stick with Mary Jane’s in future..

Extremely good value, engaging stay
Pros:

We especially liked the atmosphere and the staff who were very engaging and clearly enjoyed their jobs. They went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed our stay. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and the food was very good, home cooked. Pillow, bed and bedding were very comfortable. The rooms were perfectly adequate and had everything that we needed. We even had a breakfast hamper, drinks, yoghurts, chocolate and fruit bowl included in the price that we hadn't expected. Easy parking. Extremely good value for money. We will be back.

In need of TLC
Pros:

Staff were very friendly. Location was excellent.

Cons:

Short staffed. Room advertised as a sea view but in reality the huge extractor pipe blocks most of it. Room wasn't clean, cobwebs, missing floor tiles, no head board and generally just unkept. Holes not filled where things had been removed from walls. Shower very grubby. Toilet broken.
