From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. So far i can recommend for emergency stay like if anyother hotel cant get can prefer this

Very strategic location & restaurant all nearby

Cons:

Not clean very dusty room aircond not cooling hot water also not hot & main only we have 1 access card we requestfor 2 card they said no for breakfast every same dish 😕

Pros:

The location and the equipment were all right.

Cons:

The stuff did try not to give back the deposit, and the wifi wasn't working (they mentioned that it was under maintenance, but it did not work at all throughout our whole stay).

Pros:

The hotel is well located and the facilities are moderately good. However, the Wi-Fi is very poor—no connectivity in the rooms and extremely slow even in the lobby. Breakfast is average. A special mention to Front Office Manager Mr. Faiz, who is very helpful and courteous. Overall, an average stay with good service but weak internet facilities.

Cons:

The internet connection is very slow. Wifi is not reaching the room at all. Even in the lobby area no speed and very poor connectivity.

Cons:

during my booking (not directly with HIG Hotel) with 3rd party, i did request different bed type, but received different bed type (double single bed instead of 1 double bed).

I have a pleasant stay at HIG Hotel and would choose HIG Hotel again when traveling to Langkawi .
Pros:

Prayer mat & prayer clothing for women are available. Not need to bring along yours! Iron & ironing board are also available in the room. Staffs are friendly. Dine-in at the restaurant with affordable price & value for money. Food are delicious!

Cons:

There's room for improvement in term of cleanliness in the room and bathroom.
