Boracay Mandarin Island Hotel

I had an awesome experience with Mandarin Island Hotel. Their hospitality is beyond expectations. They make you feel like you’re a family. I highly recommend this place. I will come back and stay with them again one day.

Location is good and very near the beach which I love. Going around the area is walkable. Rooms are clean . Staffs are very polite and accommodating and entertaining . Price is very affordable.

This is our 3rd time to book at this hotel and they always deliver excellent service and a pleasurable experience. They even had a little surprise for us. We always book this hotel everytime we go to boracay. Rooms are very clean, staff are always nice, friendly and helpful. Also, they have great food here (especially the breakfast at don vito). We are looking forward to our next boracay experience with this hotel. We are coming back again this june 2026. See you in a few months 💕.

This is our 4th year checking in at Mandarin Island and we are always highly satisfied- excellent service, clean rooms, respectful and cheerful staff, good breakfast buffet, good location. Would like to also appreciate Israel, one of the managers for always taking care of us alongside the front of house staff, security, housekeeping staff, restaurant staff and our drivers. Highly recommend this hotel, they will provide you a home away from home.

We had a great time during our vacation in Boracay. The hotel was a big factor, as it was beachfront and the staff were very accommodating. Everything we needed was also inside the room. The view is also amazing since we got upgraded to premier room. The buffet breakfast was also delicious. We also booked their airport transfer, and it was very seamless everything was already handled.

Overall its really a good experience. The staff and crew of this hotel are very accommodating, approachable and friendly. Though there is some issues in regards with the ACU but it was addressed immediately. Definetely will choose to stay here for future boracay escapade.

We stayed at Mandarin Island Resort for 4 days. The room was great, the resort was very clean, and we especially enjoyed the food it was very delicious. The staff were friendly, very accommodating, and approachable. We will definitely come back to this hotel.

I have stayed at Mandarin Island Hotel Boracay before and had a positive experience, which is precisely why I chose to return for a very special trip with my mother, who was celebrating her birthday. Unfortunately, my most recent experience with the hotel’s management has left me extremely disappointed.
Shortly before our planned arrival, the Philippines began issuing multiple weather advisories regarding an incoming tropical storm and tropical depression. Authorities issued rainfall alerts and warnings about potential flooding and travel disruption. At the same time, airlines warned passengers about possible flight disruptions and recommended postponing travel where possible. There was also significant uncertainty regarding whether boat transfers between Caticlan and Boracay would continue operating.
Given the circumstances, and because I was travelling with my 69-year-old mother, I made the responsible decision not to proceed with the journey to Boracay. The risk of becoming stranded on the island just before our international flight home was simply too great.
Despite these exceptional circumstances — which were clearly outside the control of any traveller — the hotel showed absolutely no flexibility, empathy, or willingness to consider the situation. My booking was non-refundable, and the hotel strictly enforced that policy without any attempt to offer a compromise, partial refund, credit for a future stay, or even a gesture of goodwill.
What makes this particularly disappointing is that I was a returning guest who had previously chosen this hotel and was genuinely looking forward to coming back. Instead of recognising that loyalty, the response from the reservations team felt procedural and indifferent, with no acknowledgement of the real safety concerns involved.
In the end, it was Trip.com, not the hotel, that offered a goodwill compensation after reviewing the circumstances. The hotel itself chose to take no responsibility whatsoever.
Policies are policies, and I understand that businesses must have them. However, hospitality is also about understanding, judgement, and treating guests fairly when genuinely exceptional situations arise. Unfortunately, none of that was demonstrated here.
For that reason, I cannot say that this hotel values its returning guests or is willing to show flexibility when circumstances outside a traveller’s control make a trip impossible.
Regrettably, I will not be returning.

we’ve been to Boracay many times, but mandarin oriental hotel offers a different kind of warmth and charm. The staff are genuinely kind and the breakfast is really good and generous.

We truly loved our stay! From the smooth and hassle-free airport transfer to the warm welcome (esp the cute bracelet I still wear to work), nakakakilig! 🤣 Ambait ng staff lahat, very accommodating!

The beachfront view was absolutely the Boracay vibe na hinahanap namin ni hubby. Even though it is right in the heart of the long white sand stretch- with all the activities and crowd- we were surprised at how peaceful and comfortable our room was. We slept so well! The setup felt cozy and homey, like a "home away from home" vibe.

And.. I already miss the pancake from breakfast! 😁 And.. sarap daw ng tapa!

At night, chill moments- enjoying the live band while taking a relaxing dip in the pool.

We missed the spa- next time!

We always enjoy staying at Mandarin Island Hotel in Boracay. They do everything for you. From the airport pick up to getting to the hotel, such flawless transfer. You can feel the hospitality the moment you walk in. Their staff is amazing and wonderful. The rooms are also nice and comfortable. We stayed next to the pool since my daughter loves to swim. The pool is very nice.

The location is great for a first timer in boracay because its beach from with a great view of the sunset. the rooms, the amenities, foods and service is excellent. the staff is very accommodating. recommended.
