Soy de CR; escogí este hotel para hospedarme en Panamá City porque en otras ocasiones me he hospedado en el Hampton by Hilton Alajuela, Costa Rica, y nunca he tenido ninguna queja en lo absoluto. Pero la experiencia Hampton by Hilton de Panamá City fue completamente diferente; creo que para ese fin de semana tenían todas las habitaciones ocupadas y no nos dieron la habitación que nosotras habíamos reservado (o al menos no era la misma de las fotos). La habitación no tenía nada; nos dejaron un coffee maker sin ni siquiera una burbuja de café, sin agua; éramos 4 huéspedes y solo había una toalla de baño; tuvimos que ir a pedir más toallas y un par de vasos a la recepción. Había un aplanchador, pero no había plancha de ropa y en la reserva decía que la tarifa incluía eso y varias cosas más. Además, los desayunos fueron completamente decepcionantes. Sigo comparando el hotel con el Hampton by Hilton Alajuela, Costa Rica, donde usualmente tienen muchas opciones de desayuno como las típicas del país o de estilo más americano, como waffles, cereales y muchas frutas. Aquí en Panamá no: la comida fue insípida, no había opciones y la única fruta que ofrecen es banano. Asi que aprendi la leccion de que aunque el hotel sea de la misma cadena, no es igual de buena la experiencia, no recomiendo este hotel, lamentablemente.

Hotel is much better than the rating
Pros:

I asked for a room in the afternoon shadow side of the building , it was very quiet and big. Also the bathroom . Had good shadeout and the view was over the city part of Obarrio .

Cons:

The breakfast was not my piece of cake , because I eat only fruits and oatmeal with lactose free milk . Nothing of these was available . The water for the tea was cold . I bought breakfast in the Rey Supermarket in the via Espana.

Pros:

Very close a block away from a couple of good places to eat coffee shops walk to visit cathedrals very close to the airport about 15 to 20 minute by Uber very good location

Confortable, tranquila y recomendable.
Pros:

Muy buen alojamiento, bonito, limio, con una ubicación envidiable, cerca del metro, comida, tiendas, etc.

Cons:

Hubo algunos problemas con el aire acondicionado y la piscina estaba en mantenimiento, sin embargo me dieron descuento.

I expected more from Hilton, it was substandard and worse than a motel, I couldn't wait to leave.
Pros:

The staff was polite.

Cons:

I would not have stayed at this hotel; it was old and raggedy, and the carpet was dirty and torn. I had to ask for a change of rooms, because the first one didn't have a security lock on the door, which was broken. The hallways smelled, and it was just not up to standard. I didn't have breakfast because I was afraid to eat the food.

Suitable for the occasion, jus needing better towels & sheets

Anesthetics was wonderful, breakfast had different options
