Otres Beach Resort

The Beach was nice, but the service was inferior. The landlord disappeared some of the days and thus No service was provided the rest of the Day. Daily cleaning was included, but was only performed if we asked for it. The Wifi did not work.

Vi kom dit en halvtimme innan det stod att receptionen skulle stänga men den var ändå stängd. Efter ett tag kom en person från affären bredvid och hjälpte oss att hitta han som äger stället. Rummen var sådär och det var varmt och klibbigt

Engelsk vært som drak stort set hele dagen.
Værelserne var hyggelige.
Meget affald og generelt beskidt.
Meget byggeri i området.

Sehr freundliches Team , Strandnähe Zimmer sehr einfach. Team gibt sich sehr viel Mühe!

Apparently they are off Bussines and despite still being listed on hotels.com.

Quite dissapointed as it was very last minute. Owner said hotels.com was aware of it and don’t know why they are still listing! Hotels said they don’t know.. so here you go! DONT BOOK IT will save the time in getting the money back later

Lovely place to chill out

The bungalow is adequate for ehat it is. It is not a beachfront bungalow. People that walked up and booked got room for 10 dollars less than I did on Hotel.com. I moved after one night and got a much better bungalow in Otres 1, cheaper and nearer to the beach. You can do better than this.

Accommodations are basic but staff is kind. Close to beach and excellent free breakfast made to order.

Otres beach resort was our favourite place so far from our few weeks in Asia. The hotel was a little hard to find and at times you didn't know where the staff were as they are not found in the reception during the day, but the place was a really good stay. situated right on the beach with plenty of sun lounges you can do as little or as much as you want to. there is plenty of choice for food if you don't want to eat at the resort, breakfast included was great and the drink prices are good also, especially happy hour. would recommend staying at the place for anyone. had a great stay.

My room had AC and hot water but the toilet was broken. The bed was very comfortable and the AC was nice; however, that's all the room has to offer. Stay in this place only if you need a cheap place to rest at night. The location is great, only minutes from a beautiful beach where you can schedule all sorts of water activities. There are also some resturants and bars right across the street.

You get what you pay for. Bed and pillow were very uncomfortable and shower was poor, but the location is excellent. Would recommend eating somewhere else for dinner. It was a little pricey for what you got compared with other places down the beach. Staff were absolutely lovely, very helpful and sweet.

No water pressure, cold shower, lots of ants and ant bites

Otres Beach 2 was a pleasing experience. For the price of accommodation, the rooms were comfortable and clean. Bathroom is small, but clean. Water ran a little slow
Very convenient for the beach. Hotel staff were very good. Food very nice, well cooked.
Two issues that I hope will be changed soon. The road/ track was unsuitable for vehicles except 4 wheel drives. And parts of the beach were very dirty. Lots of sea junk lying around. Clean this up regularly and bild a better road and you will have a wonderful location.

We got the bungalow with fan. Looking at the photos and the price ($25 per night) our expectations were set.
When we arrived we were welcomed by friendly staff. The bungalow itself is nice and cozy.

However... spending one night at this place we felt it was very overpriced. $7-12 would be a more competative price. Between all the beaches and nice cheap hotels in Sihanoukville, paying $25 usd per night for a basic bungalow with no soap, 20 mosquito in the bathroom, moldy bedsheets/pillows and a mosquitonet that doesnt really close is too much.

So imagine after a fairly unpleasant night's sleep you awake to ants, not a few dozen, or a few hundred but thousands of ants crawling over your entire body. Little ones but that doesn't mean they can't bite. Honestly every single part of me, I mean everything had ant bites over it.

So the hotel offered me a free breakfast (included) as to say 'sorry' and denied ants were in the room I wouldn't be surprised if they denied ants as a species.
Oh yeh and it was really expensive to stay here. That is totally irreverent considering I was covered head to toe in itchy horrible bites everywhere. But still, NEVER STAY HERE.

Loved this little place. Restaurant food was delicious, staff was very friendly and helpful, little bungalow was cozy, I pretty much had the beach to myself the 3 days I was there.... Wifi worked well, even in my bungalow (I guess it's close enough to the reception area). Not exactly cheap accommodation, but it was nevertheless one of my favorite places to stay in my 2-month SouthEast Asia trip! Thank you!!!
