​Disappointing stay—poor service and hygiene issues

​I arrived to check in at 3:00 PM as scheduled, only to be told my room wasn't ready. The front desk staff told me to wait in the lobby but gave no estimated wait time. By 4:00 PM, no one had updated me, so I went back to the counter myself. The room was ready, but the staff should have proactively informed me instead of leaving me waiting indefinitely.
​Upon entering the 9th-floor room, I noticed an unpleasant odor. Since I was only staying for one night, I chose not to complain immediately. However, the next morning, I discovered the likely source. I heard pigeons outside, looked out the window, and saw the air conditioning compressors covered in pigeon droppings. There were even stains on the window and potentially the curtains. This is a serious hygiene issue that the hotel needs to address immediately.
​Additionally, the room and bathroom fixtures felt dated and poorly maintained. Overall, it was an unpleasant experience, and I wouldn't stay here again.

It was pleasant to stay at Ixora Hotel.
Pros:

Near to PLUS highway.

Cons:

Room is spacious but lacking on cleanliness. There is food leftover in freezer, perhaps housekeeping overlooked this one.
