Good apartment in a nice location but air conditioner wasn’t very effective on hot and humid days.
Pros:

The location was really good with easy access to the beach and lots of shops and restaurants in walking distance

Cons:

It was difficult to keep the apartment cool on very hot and humid days as there was only one small air conditioner in the living room and only ceiling fans in the bedrooms. We were on the top floor and couldn’t have the sliding door open even on cooler days as there was no security screen and it wasn’t safe for our grandson on the balcony.

2 mins walk to the beach . Beautiful view from our balcony. Kitchen got everything we need... Beds are comfy, clean. Apartment is clean.

Fantastic. Would stay again.
Pros:

The apartment was well located to all facilities.
The apartment was clean and well set out.

Cons:

There were no complimentary toiletries, no hair dryer.
When I booked there was no A/C in the bedrooms however, the rooms were very hot and stuffy… we opened the window & had the fan on constantly with the bedrooms still very hot.

The place is fantastic and exactly what we were looking for, rail works were unbelievably noisy
Pros:

Everything about the property was great, as expected and perfect. Just need to stay there when road works finished which looks like years away.

Cons:

Huge issue was road works noise from outside all night from works on the rail line. Windows have extra sound proofing in the bedrooms however it still kept us awake every night. Not the fault of horizons as they were great. The rail line should be compensating there business better.

Great location, great view and tidy appartment.

Cons:

The air conditioning is not functional for the space. The small aircon in the lounge did not reach the bedrooms, we kept curtains closed all day and windows closed but it was like a sauna in the bedrooms. There are also no curtain closing or blinds in the lounge area.

Great spot, good value, slight improvements needed
Pros:

Very close to the patrolled beach. Easy walk to restaurants and supermarkets. Pool and spa were lovely.

Cons:

Advertised as air-conditioned. The only air-con unit was in the loungeroom, which did not filter down to the bedrooms. The bedrooms had ceiling fans that were placed oddly and did not adequately cool rooms down. We were given a parking space, which was such a tight fit, that we could not leave out of one side of our small Honda Jazz. The end of the park was also filled with someone's property.

Pros:

Great location, very friendly staff. Good facilities.

Cons:

The front door handle kept falling off in our hands when exiting the apartment. Very much a safety issue, particularly if there happened to be a fire in the complex.
The ensuite door lock was faulty and trapped one of our kids inside.
The glasses and plates were flaked with debris and needed to be cleaned before we used them. Other than that, it was great!

Pros:

Staff was really helpful, and its a 5min walk to the beach. Great location, it is what its advertised, ocean, city and mountain view! Some of the facilities like the fan wasnt working at first, but staff Ben was really quick about getting it fixed and so so kind throughout :)

The position of the property was perfect . Stroll to the beach. Short walk to Burleigh shops and lots of parks around
Great pool, spa and putt putt

Cons:

The property we stayed in which was level 11 no 45 needs some renovations. Paint was peeling off walls . Bathrooms old . Laundry was dangerous with no ventilation. My 2 year old grandson actually had a fall in the laundry. A bigger clothes airer that wasn’t rusty would have been great.
It was actually overpriced for what it was even though it was high season . Paying $6k for 13 nights you would have thought we could have got clean towels at no extra charge along with free golf clubs.

Perfect location with great facilities
Pros:

Perfect location. Facilities were awesome. Best value for money. We had the most amazing holiday. Parked the car and didn’t need it again. Everything is close by.

Cons:

The air conditioner in the lounge room didn’t work (needs to be re-gassed) but thankfully the sea breezes were delightful so were enough to keep the place cool.
