WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE!
Pros:

Literally the worst hotel I’ve ever experienced in my life. I never write reviews but for this one I had too. Extremely rude staff, front desk will simply talk over you instead of trying to listen to your concerns. Room service was 2 hours late, misdelivered, then redelivered after after sitting in the hallway for two hours! Disorganized staff. Nothing good to say about this stay

Quaint and Quiet Stay in Sewanee!
Pros:

Very cute inn in the middle of the Sewanee campus. Our room balcony was overlooking the golf course.
Limited services…no bellman, no room service.
The bar and restaurant were very popular and busy. The drinks were great and the food was average.
It is the “only inn in town” and the only place I would stay. I would definitely stay again.

Very convenient, comfortable stay when visiting the University of the South
Pros:

We were in town for our daughter's Admitted Students day at The University of the South (Sewanee) and decided to splurge on a stay at the hotel. It was beautifully decorated with comfortabl beds, friendly staff, and spotlessly clean facilities.

Cons:

It's a little pricier than our typical hotel stays, but we knew that going into it.

Beautiful property and amenities. Dissapointed with room.
Pros:

Loved the patio, the common spaces and the ability to walk to trails from door

Cons:

Booked months in advance when multiple rooms were available. Was given ADA room under the stairs with views of parking lot. Likely due to booking with 3rd party.

We loved our room and the walking distance to the campus, and we hope to stay there again!
Pros:

The location was great, the staff was very helpful and friendly, and the building interior was lovely. The room was beautiful, and it was very quiet and peaceful. Loved being on the golf course and watching the daily groom first thing every morning! It was great having bottled water in the room too.

Cons:

The bathroom door slammed into the wall by the toilet; a doorstop of some sort would be helpful.
The grits at breakfast weren't good (and we generally love grits). The rest of breakfast was fine.

Quiet stay at the Sewanee Inn over Thanksgiving Holiday.
Pros:

Very nice stay at the Sewanee Inn over Thanksgiving week. The Town/Campus/Inn was very quiet due to Holiday. The view was great overlooking the Golf Course. The dinners and drinks were very good. Our daughter enjoyed her campus Visit, which was just down the street from the Inn. The staff were very nice and accommodating. Fireplace was the perfect spot for a hot cocoa.

Cons:

Better lighting in restrooms. Too dim.
