Pros:

Amazing stay very close to the Asahidake Ropeway. The onsen is amazing as well along with a very hospitable and helpful staff. The breakfast and dinner are also solid considering, especially since there aren’t options close by.

Pros:

Sehr grosses Zimmer (wie gebucht), schöne Lage in mitten der Natur. Das Bad mit zwei Saunas.

Cons:

Die vielen öffentlichen Räume inklusive Restaurant waren zu wenig geheizt. Die Aufenthaltsräume, nicht einladend.
Das Essen vom Buffet war kalt bis es am Tisch war.

Peace, quiet and understated luxury rooms
Pros:

The refurbished rooms are wonderful. Spacious, excellent storage and bathroom and very quiet. Perfect for relaxing in. This is our second visit, and hopefully we will be back again!

Cons:

A private onsen room for those of us too old to use a communal one would be the icing on the cake but you can’t have everything can you?

Pros:

The hotel room was spacious and extra clean. The duplex bedrooms were suitable for our family. Onsen was spacious but rather simple. Unfortunately outdoor onsen was closed when we were there.
