I would definitely come back here, cosy beds, lovely breakfast, nice atmosphere, great location.
Pros:

I loved the courtyard, and the decor, and the old buildings.

Fantastic location, excellent comfort and breakfast, bizarre decor
Pros:

Location perfect. Staff friendly. Nice courtyard restaurant. Very good breakfast.

Cons:

It was costly. And we were quite horrified by the real zebra heads stuck on the wall in the hall. There were three stuffed peacocks in the bar area. Not for vegetarians or those who don't enjoy the whole idea of safari as hunting!

Pros:

Het ontbijt was prima, personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het hotel heeft een koloniale uitstraling die niet bij iedereen goed zal vallen.

Cons:

De kwaliteit van de aangboden kamers is ondermaats voor het enorme bedrag per nacht (€250) op kleine zolderkamertjes 3 hoog. De kamers zijn alleen via steile trappen bereikbaar, totaal niet geschikt voor mensen die slecht te been zijn of last van hoogtevrees hebben.

Es war ein super schöner Kurzurlaub in einem ausgezeichneten Hotel in Groningen. Wir kommen wieder.
Pros:

Das etwas verrückt eingerichtete Hotel hat super nettes Personal. Der Innenhof zum Verweilen ist super, ruhig u. man merkt garnicht, wie zentral man ist. Durch die Lage (Fußgängerzone) konnte ich auch sehr gut schlafen. Meiner Cousine erging es genauso. Nach 2 Nächten waren wir mega entspannt u. wir konnten alles fußläufig machen. Groningen ist eine wunderschöne Stadt und die Holländer sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war auch hervorragend.

Cons:

Ich war etwas irritiert, da ich dachte, dass es hinter dem Hotel Parkplätze gibt. Hatte auch erst garnicht verstanden, dass die Straße eine Fußgängerzone ist. Es wäre super hilfreich, wenn Sie in Ihrer Hotelbeschreibung darauf hinweisen, dass man die umliegenden Parkhäuser nutzen muss. Am besten unter Angabe der Namen der Parkhäuser und Adresse für das Navi. Schreiben sie auch, dass man die Parkkarte ermäßigt bei Ihnen erhalten kann. Bezahlt haben wir für 48 Std. ermäßigt bei Ihnen an der Rezeption 46,- €. Wir waren am Ausfahrtag etwas über unsere Parkzeit, da wir noch ca. 2 Std. in der City bummeln waren, deshalb konnten wir nicht aus dem Parkhaus rausfahren. Hätten 2,20 € nachzahlen müssen, allerdings war die Karte im Gerät eingezogen.... Über den Notknopf konnte ich einen netten Herrn erreichen, der uns dann die Nachzahlung erlassen hat und die Schranke öffnete.
