The Plaza Hotel

Stayed at the Plaza Hotel as my girlfriend and I enjoyed two nights of bullriding (PBR) at Fiserv. Staff was friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable. The restaurant was a great choice for breakfast. Food was plentiful and tasty and Sarah our server was fantastic. Thanks to all! We will be back!

The room was clean as was the kitchenette. A very good place to stay. I didn't go to the restaurant but there was a wait to get in so it must be pretty good. It is about a mile walk to the Pabst Theatre. The neighbor was safe and walkable.

The Plaza has a great historic feel. It conjured images of an author tapping out a novel in the 1920s tucked away in the room. The place was quiet in spite of there being a ton of people there. The rooms are small but we don't mind. The only downside is that there is no ventilation of any kind in the bathroom. It is an old building, so it is probably not even possible. I also noticed our room did not have A/C. Not a problem when we stayed, but if staying in summer, I would recommend asking about this. The location was awesome. A great little neighborhood and walking distance to many points of interest, food, grocery store, bars, restaurants, the lakeshore, museums, etc.

This was a great place to stay for a quick solo trip. The ambiance is nice, and it was walkable to my downtown event venue, good restaurants and coffee shops. Parking was on-site and reasonably priced. There was soft water and soft towels. The restaurant recommendation list available at the front desk was also very helpful.

This hotel is extremely cute and boutique like. We were very happy with our check-in process and the layout, cleanliness, and overall look of our room. The hotel staff are amazing. They were friendly, accommodating, and answered my questions with a genuine smile. The hotel is about one block away from the light rail train stop at Cathedral Park, 10 to 15 minute walk to the Art Museum, and a 20 minute walk to the German restaurants and sports arena where the Bucks play. Great location, great hotel!

Our room was at the top of the stairs from the restaurant and the noise was so loud it woke us up. The walls are not sound proof. Also - there are no elevators.

The Plaza Hotel was such a wonderful surprise. We loved everything about it! We had dined at the restaurant before, and are so happy to now have stayed at the hotel. What a beautiful, historic and well-run property. Our room was so spacious, well appointed and had everything needed for even a much longer stay. They thought of everything!

The location is wonderful as well -easily walkable and street parking was accessible. We loved it and would not stay anywhere else in Milwaukee from here on out.

Absolutely lovely, charming hotel. We had a premium room and the condition of everything was like new. Food at the Plaza Cafe was fresh and tasty. Great hotel, great price, great location!

Great well-maintained 1920s apartment hotel with charming well-run Cafe at the Plaza. Front desk staff was consistently friendly and helpful. Location in Milwaukee's Lower East Side neighborhood is close to Juneau Park, the lakefront, and--via the free HOP light-rail--convenient to downtown. Would definitely stay again.

This property is very unique and had a lovely old charm. We had kids with us and, of course, they wanted a pool. Which there was none.

There was no elevator which is a shock this day & age. Also no one bothered to tell us we would have to carry luggage up the stairs. On departure we had to carry our bags through the full dining room. Bad set up. There was a pedestal sink in the bathroom so very little space for toiletries. The bed was very comfy. Nice little kitchenette.

The room and bath were quite large and very updated. Unfortunately, the toilet seat, the toilet paper holder, and the shower head were somewhat broken and therefore did not operate properly.
We also appreciated your ability to store our luggage before we checked in and after we checked out.
