Facilities a litle bit too old
It was in a convenient location. As our last stop, it was really close to the station with the train to Narita and also to Ueno park which was great. The immediate surroundings were a little seedy though.
The room was shockingly dirty. There were stains on the ground and the bathroom smelled, we had to get room service to clean the bathroom multiple times before the smell abated. There was also irregular buzzing from the HVAC that would go off in the night and wake us up.
The location is nice, close to the metro and some useful stores.
Je ne comprends pas comment une chambre avec un lit simple peut être suggérée dans une recherche d'un logement pour 2 personnes. La chambre était notée semi-double, mais c'était bien un lit simple. Nous avons essayé de changer de chambre via booking et également en discutant avec le personnel de l'hôtel. La demande sur booking a été ignorée (alors que des chambres lit double étaient encore disponibles pour nos dates et moins chères que le prix que nous avons payé 1 mois plus tôt pour notre chambre "semi-double") et le personnel de l'hôtel nous a proposé de payer un supplément d' environ 40€ par nuit pour une chambre avec un lit double. A ce prix, autant changer d'hôtel.
La chambre n'étant pas remboursable, nous sommes restées. Heureusement nous ne sommes pas épaisses mais c'était tout de même très inconfortable.
La chambre était un couloir, pas la place d'ouvrir une valise.
Les murs et moquettes sales et l'ameublement abimés
Une odeur étrange dans le couloir pendant tout le séjour.
Bref pour 73€/nuit, je ne recommande pas.

Near subway
Smelly, noisy , the room is small and look very old and dirty.
A great location in the centre of Ueno with easy access the transportation and restaurants. The room was small but bigger enough for our family of three. The bathroom was actually a little bigger than in other hotels. Also, the windows in room can be opened which is nice to do when wanting some outside air. The windows also do a great job of blocking excess noise from the street below.
A little expensive and doesn’t offer breakfast. Also, the streets are a little less ‘family friendly’ at night.
The annex had a bathtub outside
Because we chose the annex with bath outside the noise from outdoors was bad. We did not get any good sleep for our entire stay. There were sewer works happening from 11pm-6am everyday we were there except for the weekend. The glass sliding doors didn't keep any type of noise out we heard everything, even people crossing the street and the pedestrian beep. This should have been communicated to us that there were planned sewer works so we could of had the option to cancel. The hotel itself was comfortable, staff are very nice.
